I felt for a while as if I have come to this hotel for room inspection. Shifted 3 rooms in 3 hours. Finally one room with AC was found. Totally waste hotel. Breakfast menu was same during my 3 day stay. Better to avoid this hotel. Free internet is available but will not connect.
On a tour of south India with friends. We booked in to this hotel on our travels as they could cater for the vehicles we had. They have a basement car park which is handy. That is the only good point about this place. Our room had aircon units on the wall outside which the bed was adjacent to, all night you could hear the units going and our room didn’t even have air con! =no sleep. We were told we had to leave the bar and go for food upstairs at 7. We went up stairs and we hadn’t been served any food for 3 hours! We gave up on the food and went to a nearby hotel and used there facility’s as we were to hungry to wait any longer. The staff in the bar and the so called restaurant were very rude. The receptionists were kind and so were the front door security.
This hotel is located close to Meenakshi temple and quite close to many eateries and restaurants. Hotel has A/C rooms and quite okay in sizes. However rooms & bathroom lacks cleanliness. Hotel staffs were friendly and co-operative.
Hotel is 5 minutes walk from railway station, (parallel Road). About a km to Meenakshi Temple. Decent rooms. Opp to hotel is famous Chennai silks and no dearth of shopping. Breakfast is good. Basement car parking is available. Surrounding lot of restaurants are available. Bathroom can be more cleaner. Suggest them to give water bottle. Lobby can be made more exciting.
I recently stayed in this hotel with my family. Check in experience was pathetic, we were checked in by a guy who just handed over the access cards, and no words at all. We were given rooms on the 6th floor, 2 rooms we took, none of the things seem to work. To name a few: - Wifi didn't work - Locking the room from inside doesnt work. It can still be opened from outside. After calling the facilities person, came to know we need to again swipe the card from outside to lock them. Quite unsafe huh!! - Hot water knob was broken. - Wifi didn't work - Electrical plug point was locked and didn't work. We had to call the facility person each time to unlock and plug the chargers. - Car parking - very narrow space, and bit challenging to park bigger vehicles, could see lot of paint colors on the wall made by vehicles hitting the wall. - Old style TVs in room. they works on and off. Picture quality pathetic. Overall a very horrible and terrible experience. Wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone, you can find a better hotel with facilities for the same price.…
