Hi we stayed here as a Family for Pongal Celebration.
We enjoyed stay here having Swimming Pool, Hot water in every tap bathroom with Glass visible from Bedroom is fun here.

We stayed at the V Grand , Madurai for three days two nights. Our stay was extremely comfortable, (despite Sterling Holidays not honouring our entitled request for rooms, we had to book through a travel booking portal and paid more). The restaurant staff and chef were simply amazing. We ordered mutton chettinad, dal tadka, aloo Gobi, rotis and rice. The desert of white pumpkin halwa and gulab jamun was extraordinarily yummy. We had a CME on 27th November 2022 at their Kondattam Hall. We had a registration of over 400 delegates, but the crowd was managed so well by the staffs at the reception as well as the dining area. The entire team helped us in all our requests and made the event a grand success for us. The food, hall, ac facility, chair arrangements both on and off the dias, neatness of restrooms everything was monitored by Mr. Arun and his team. Mr.Wison also arranged safe travel for one of our delegate even though it was a last minute request from us. Their hospitality has just left us awestruck! We are sure that any future programs at Madurai - Sterling V Grand will be our go to place.

This is VGrand Hotel signed with Sterling hospitality. I booked this property as it is decently priced standard hotel which is Sterling branded. I have stayed in multiple Sterling properties across and have had good experience.
This is perhaps the worst Sterling property. Right from rude and inhospitable front desk until their horrible air conditioning. We were called 7times at least to check if we are visiting the hotel or not. Upon arrival, no one welcomes, I had to make multiple requests to ask someone to carry luggage from the car to the room. One star is for - Rooms were just ok , were large enough for two and decently clean bathrooms and room too. We were asked 3 times since morning to know when are we checking out , I really don’t understand the intention for asking when we are coming and when we are going, room tariff is not worth for 12hrs checkout.
This property is 5-6kms from the temple which takes 20-30mins to the temple and from the airport too.
Not worth at all, there are many good hotels close to the temple. Not wheelchair friendly, no one follows covid protocols just like the whole city.
I got a very bad cold and allergy due to their horrible air conditioning and suffering from it as Iam writing this review.
It has open car parking which is open to the scorching sun as basement parking were not allowed.
Average breakfast.
This is my first and last time at the hotel and would choose from GRT and other good hotels close to the temple.

Room was fine and clean. It was sufficiently spacious. Washroom is dated and needs a deep cleaning and replacement of some fittings. Restaurant and food was fine. Staff in general were very helpful and supportive. Sufficient parking was also available. We could get a rickshaw just outside the hotel to travel to the Madurai temple. Better avoid driving there in your car as the place around the temple was really contested. Rickshaw is more convenient.

Very friendly and helpful staffs , food was very tasty & buffet was on par with other 5 star hotels. Good value for money & staying here is highly recommended if you plan to visit Madurai. The only drawback, may be the hotel can improve the quality of bedsheet, pillow covers & towels as there are stains . Bathroom is clean but since it's a old property looks a bit outdated

We came to Sterling V grand for my cousin's birthday party. The ambience is very welcoming & charming. Food was delicious,from starters to the desserts, especially mutton biriyani & chicken 65 the quality & taste of the food was outstanding. Service we received was amazing, for the most part Mr.Nirmal's service & Mr.Midhun's hospitality was delightful and very professional. We all enjoyed,particularly my grandfather and grandmother satisfied alot. I recommend to everyone! I would like to come back here again and again.

We have stayed here with our family for weekend trip. Rooms are clean & comfortable. We visited Restaurant for dinner, restaurant was empty, there was a restaurant Captain named Mr.Nirmal,he welcomed us with a smiling face,also he provided us the comfortable seating, he suggested few menu for us which was delicious. Honestly we are very happy on his service. The way he received us & service provided throughout the dinner was very much satisfied & delighted. 😊

I had planned a trip with my parents to Madurai-Rameshwaram-Kanyakumari and on my way back to Bangalore I had planned a pitstop at Madurai again and my Sterling V Grand really took good care of us. Muthu and front office team is excellent. The rooms are clean and comfortable. It is an old property but the hygiene and cleanliness is maintained feasible good. My stay was very comfortable and since I am a North Indian who has been residing in South for quite sometime now I crave for North Indian home food and the food served was really good and fresh. Each and everyone in the hotel took really good care of us. I informed Muthu that I am on a road trip with my parents and was a single driver. He understood the situation extremely well and actioned everything on his own.The basic amenities in the room were already placed.I did not had to bother to call room service again and again. Thank you for taking care of us and making my stay comfortable. The swiftness in service makes this place a 5 out of 5 to come again and travellers of all kinds can expect (Pligrim, Family, work related) a very good service and response. I am definitely coming back to this hotel anytime I have to go to Madurai. Thank you Muthu, Arun and team for making this so easy for me.

The boys in the bar are awesome. Super friendly and look after me well! I think there names were Logu and Athul.?? Highly recommend. The Kingfisher beer is delicious and was served super cold with peanuts! If you need to unwind come here for a cold one Complimentary shooter was supplied!
