Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travellers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
We stayed here for 2 nights and although the rooms are OK it was not a great experience. The hotel is beside a very busy road and getting to the temple or where there is anything going in involves taking your life in your hands to negotiate the traffic.
The evening restaurant was good with good food and helpful staff. The same could not be said for breakfast. It was an initiative test trying to work out what you could get and how. Nothing was offered . We had to ask for clean mats, cutlery and tea and coffee. It was only when we saw other people being made an omelette that we knew they were available . They were not offered. The butter and jam needing refilling and had to be asked for. There was not an ounce of initiative among the breakfast staff and they were miserable looking into the bargain. Not a smile among them. There needs to be some staff training in customer care here. The front staff varied but were generally helpful and there was a very pleasant helpful room boy who restored your faith in good service. Thee was good WiFi and plenty of hot water.

The property is located in main city and meenakshee temple is around 1km from hotel. The rooms are good with all amenities like fridge, locker, television, bathroom essentials. We had lunch and dinner in restaurant which is at ground floor of hotel. The price of food items is quite reasonable and the food was also good. The hotel provide buffet breakfast from chole bhautre, idli sambhar, otthapam, fruits, juices,upma,halwa, boiled eggs, boiled vegetables and breads. The stay was pleasant.

Hotel is sandwiched between two buildings, inner rooms won't have any window. But for one night stay i would stay it is good enough. Room was clean and spacious. Complementary Breakfast in the restaurant in the hotel was good but paid lunch was ok'ish. It is 1.5km from Meenakshi temple. Overall value for money.

Don't stay at this place until no other option left. Completely third class hotel. The rooms are reasonably ok but some kind of sewage stink is all the time lingering around. We had to wait for more than half an hour at the reception to get our rooms inspite of the booking done many days in advance. The management of the entire setup is very laid back and there is no proper coordination between staff. The person at the reception doesn't care to address your issues. All in all not more than 1star rating can be given.

This is the worst hotel in Madurai. The rooms are unhygienic and smelly, the restaurant food is terrible. Staying here was a waste of money. The only rating point that I’m giving is because this hotel was closer to Meenakshi Amman Temple.

The sevice is vey bad no prompt action despite repeated request. Room service by ther resturany is very slow and late. Reception chamges the stand other than what was requested on phone reservation. claening is not there even on request. Children are used for work in resturant.

Hotel on the main road of madurai. Very noisy. Some rooms have no windows.Nevertheless nice restaurant including breakfast. Nice bathroom with hot water. If you come to madurai try to find a more quiet place.

Jan 10-11, 2020, wife & me stayed here mainly for the temple visit and were not disappointed, overall, even though the TV & bathroom could be improved a little. Smiling, courteous & helpful staff, though. And centrally located too.

I stayed here for three nights and yes the rooms look good on the website our room had no window so no natural light and wasn't cleaned once the whole time we were there. 24 hour check in means exactly that.... We checked in at 6.43 am and on the day of our departure got a phone call at 8.10 wanting to know why we hadn't checked out and they tried to charge us for another day. When we arrived we got a taxi from the train station to the hotel that cost R50 we asked reception to get us a return taxi back to the station and they quoted R200 !!!

This small business like hotel was surprisingly nice enough for even a picky traveller like me.. On a budget, its a good place. Located close to the Meenakshi temple and the surrounding Market areas. Food was quite good and in decent variety. The staff were nice and helpful.
