Amika Hotel - Madurai, no words to express about my two days stay.. From Security to Room Services are excellent and given us the our own home feel at hotel stay.
Housekeeping team is very excellent in maintaining the guest room including the public restroom for driver and other staffs are in high level. Also, very friendly approach towards any query or any assistance regarding to our room internal requirements, maintaining of garden is top class. Entire credits goes to head of housekeeping.
Note: Very Peaceful Hotel at Top Indian Highway - Madurai to Kaniyakumari
Next comes to food, my personal credits goes to executive chief who made me a unforgettable night dinner on my check out day by preparing a excellent and local authentic mutton chooka with kal dosa, vera level taste. Seriously each item of South Indian and local food at restaurant will give us the original feel of home taste. Boys at service is very friendly and more approachable for any needs related to foods.

Hotel Amika turned out to be a great surprise package for my tired eyes while situated on a highway nearby to the Madurai airport. From the Front Desk, Prasanna, I’ve got the best rates possible for my week long stay & check-in was breezy. Melange- their lobby level restaurant was open for dining in after the COVID-19 restrictions being relaxed by the state government. Sathish, Boopathy & Gopal took care of my dining times in the restaurant. Kannan, Manager of the hotel has gone out of his good ways for providing me with my choice of breakfast including few continental items for my better satisfaction. From the Executive Chef to the Pastry Chef, all were always ready to check with my preferences for my food menu to provide them though they were supposed to be procured especially for me. Housekeeping staffs called Ajith & Bala & Mohammed deserve special mention for tidying up my room in a professional manner & for providing me with extra water bottles and other necessities during my stay. Front desk Jagan has gone out of his way to even arrange for someone to be sent to the nearby pharmacy for buying my necessary medicines. Overall, hotel Amika turned out to surprise me with their surplus services rendered by their team except for a couple of noise pollution incidents outside my room that were attracting my complaints that dealt with immediately by the staff too. I may come back soon in the near future if I choose to fly back to Madurai for a relaxing vacation.

Overall the hotel is very reasonable for price. Food is various and very nice. The room is very clean and need. Room is compact and complete with all required utilities. Room service is excellent by the staff. Just a small request thing is room floor need to be mopped more frequently because a bit sticky.

I had just passed in at AMIKA Hotels Madurai for lunch buffet. The buffet was extraordinary and the tenderness of food was so felt. Every dish was perfect in its state and nothing was to point out in terms of imperfection. Loved every dish at the menu. They offer a variety of sides and also their desserts are out of the world. Carrot halwa was the game changer. Overall one classic ambience filled delicious restaurant.

Excellent place to stay with family. Visited the hotel on the way to Rameshwaram. Located at the NH it is very easy to locate the Hotel. Very pleasant staff to welcome you at the entrance and the service provided is worth more the amount spend. Specially the reception staff is very understanding and friendly and gave us the best room suiting our requirement at a standard budget friendly rate. Had a very good time staying there.

I was in a South India tour and made an online reservation with Amika directly. It was located not too far away from city and seemed reasonably priced. I was more than happy with the overall experience. It’s mostly built as a business hotel and is relatively new. It has a nice restaurant Melange that serves good food. Some of the amenities are still being built like swimming pool and gym etc. The staff is cordial and friendly. I stayed for two nights, the room was quadruple, I.e with two queen beds, which is rarity and pleasantly helpful for a family with two kids, one who is around 10 years and need their own bed. The rooms are very clean and overall hotel is neat and well maintained, also probably due to the fact that it is new. I would recommend to try this if you have your own car as it’s a bit of ride (around 20 mins) to visit temple and local city market and cabs are expensive as there is no ola / Uber.

The staff is great, both at the front office and restaurant. However, the biggest disadvantage they have is the location. Sort of in the middle of nowhere, making it very difficult to get cabs or the ones you eventually get overcharge you. During our stay none of the complimentary items were placed in the room - dental kit, shaving kit, slippers etc, items that they had mentioned in their catalogue. The drain in our washroom was clogged and we had to get someone to fix it. The other room that we had booked had an issue with the door bell. Greater effort needs to be taken for basic upkeep and maintenance. Also, please do not keep pestering guests to review you on trip advisor at the front desk while checking out. If they accept, it's fine. If they do not, be gracious. Please do not nag and start operating their phones for them.

We are a group of super bike riders and had to take a halt at Madurai. A friend suggested Amika Hotel and it was the ideal stay for us for a night. They assisted us with secured parking for our super bikes, the room service and overall staff was very courteous and helpful. The food was excellent. Rooms are very well done. Excellent cleanliness and hygiene. The restaurant serves multicuisine and desserts. Overall the hotel deserves 5 stars!
