We stayed in room for 4. It had 2 double beds. Beds were comfortable and large. Rooms were clean. There are many restaurants around offering veg and non-veg cuisine. Many cab drivers outside if you need cab services. Staff is cooperative and helpful. One of the staff Jagan speaks good Hindi and was very helpful. Overall nice experience.

Stay for one night and day during post Shanskranti weekend. Nice to stay for short trip, very close to Meenakshi Temple. Offered complimentary breakfast to nearby Meekshiamma hotel where the quantity and variety of Breakfast was heavy. Had two meals there only, good restaurant and AC dining also available. Hotel Lotus staff are good but a bit slow. Accommodation and room cleanliness was good.

Enjoyed a 2 night stay in this great hotel. Lovely and clean, super room, all good facilities. Very comfy bed! Food was great too, and plenty of it. Staff friendly and efficient. The price was very good too

Good and decent hotel at budget price. Located at heart of the city. Meenakshi Amman Temple, Madurai Railway Junction and Periyar Bus Depot is at walkable distance from Hotel Lotus. Staffs are kind and polite. They do have their own Travel Desk which provides service for all our Travel needs. Breakfast provided nearby was delicious South Indian menu. Suitable for family, friends and also corporates.

Excellent and pleasant stay. Kind, polite and energetic staffs working. Breakfast was South Indian and it was homely. Housekeeping & Roomservice was good enough. They do have own travel desk and it was easy for us to take vehicles on our own customised tour package.

Content - I stayed in the hotel with my family. Hotel is located on the highway which is a big advantage of the city traffic very close to mattuthavani bus stand. Parking plenty closed and open. Very good hotel with excellent cleanliness and facilities rooms was spacious and clean.

We had an woeful experience in staying in Hotel Lotus in Madurai. The location of the hotel is on a dirty crowded street. The rooms are small with no windows, no proper hot water. There is no Resturanr on premise, so we were compelled to go out. The room was very noisy at night and hallway light was keeping the room lighted throughout the night. We could not get a restful sleep. I will not recommend this hotel.

I stayed with my family in this hotel. Location is near the Meenakshi Temple. Except this advantage, the hotel is not worth the money paid. There is no storage facility in the room (not even a normal shelf), except that they provide 2 dress hangers. The staff is rude. Parking is a problem. Their parking space is not a convenient one. Seems some renovation is underway. So they ask us to go to another restaurant nearby for having the complementary breakfast. The bedding was dirty and they did not change inspite of complaining about it. You would get better hotels for the money. I would not recommend this hotel for families.

Worst hotel, there are many better options available in Madurai.
I book this hotel but need to cancel my reservation due to some unavoidable circumstances. I email and call hotel mgmt. prior but they didn't refund the amount.
I suggest people to go for TTDC chain of hotels as they have all process so simplified and good.

it is not understood what was your comment. However if you have checked in, no hotel will give a refund for whatever reason unless you settle the same on the spot. Yes if you cancel the booking in time you may get refund. Hotel LOTUS Madurai is reasonably a good hotel and the management should furnish a reply to your comments.
There are more places to choose from in the Madurai area.
