We had booked a double room and a mini conference hall for our business meet. room was adequate, clean and well maintained. Service was also very good. The restroom was too small and needs some thinking. They serve one of the best coffees ! Too good. in fact awesome. Conference room was again adequate. their AC control needs some revamping both in room and hall. Lunch served was very tasty and with spread too. Overall, the experience was very good. A little more fine tuning will put them on top. Their front office staff were all too courteous and warm. Special appreciation to them.

We stayed at Rathna Residency for a night during a peak season time (on 25th December). The hotel staff were very cordial and polite, rooms were clean and spacious. Location is also very good. Overall good experience.

3 days temple visiting in Madura in February 6th and reached night 12.30 , very nice person in front desk. good behavior. we stayed three days in this hotel. breakfast was good. and good persons in working this hotel. we request all the stay in this hotel when visiting Madura.Family front Hotel.

We never actually had the misfortune to stay at this hotel as we never made it passed the ever so "professional" reception staff. We arrived early at 5 am tired only to be met by the rudest "receptionist" imaginable. We had made a booking with Make My Trip.com, paid and had received two forms of confirmation, however the staff member politely informed us that they hadn't got the booking and that we should pay or leave. He also informed us that this happens all the time with Makemytrip.com (but they had never bothered to rectify the matter) and that it was not his problem, it was ours!! Now I have worked in the hotel industry for over 10 years and am fully aware that booking websites have zero authority to advertise rooms without the say so of the hotel, if this wasn't the case every hotel in the world would be double booked almost everyday, this the receptionist disagreed with. Anyway we didn't want an argument (unlike our receptionist), we just wanted to resolve the matter, so we asked if we could use the hotel phone to contact the website (its a free telephone number) as our mobile doesn't work in South India, we were met with "NO! THIS IS OUR PHONE, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!". My wife, who now was extremely unhappy at this point, picked up a phone on the travel desk. They called security. An unbelievably angry guard appeared and started shouting, my wife (rightly or wrongly) argued back, the security guard raised his fists, not to actually hit her but to give the message of what was to come if she didn't stop. Some other members of staff wisely took the guard away. In my country, your establishment would be finished.

My wife and I have stayed here eight times over the past few years and have always found it to be very satisfactory. We have been looked after very well by the management.
It is well priced, very conveniently located, within walking distance of the main central area, and has satisfactory facilities, including a very serviceable restaurant.
We shall return next year.

I stayed here from 2am on Sunday morning, until 10pm on Monday evening - they have genuine 24 hour charging period, so this only cost me for 2 nights, which was extremely helpful for me. Close to the station and to other 'Western' hotels, with bars and rooftop terraces.
I was a bit worried about potential cleanliness after reading some of the other reviews, but my room and bathroom were spotless, towels, toilet paper, bathroom products all provided. Staff were extremely helpful and the complimentary Indian breakfast was plentiful and delicious.

went to Madurai for temple visit with family, reached in afternoon and the check-in was good and given a delux room. the reception staffs are very nice and professional. the room was really good and large...and the room service is also good...overall the stay is great and would visit again.

the trip was planned solely by me and it was a pilgrimage with my parents. We reached Madurai by 9.45 PM on a sunday by train and were too exhausted to walk anymore which became a healthry profit for the auth o-rickshaw -walas to just drop us in the street for 40 bucks.
The hotel is on the West Perumal Maistry street , the famous one hosting many of the star hotels for those visiting Madurai.It is very economic compared to the other hotels on the satme street. 5 mins walk from Station , Complimentary Breakfast, Great Ambience , Neat and clean rooms ad restrooms .
I especially like the tea and sandwiches made by them. Love to be back there whenever I visit Madurai

Stay was very good and comfortable. Price was bit high but the management and rooms were neat. They also do have a parking facility. Service was excellent.
My kid was so happy to stay here and was not in a mood to leave this hotel. Bedsheets, bathrooms were kept clean and neat.
