Sans Souci is an experience in itself. A hundred years old, to the year, It's been retained with all its beautiful old world colonial charm. Just sitting on the porch gives you these breathtaking views of tea estates, the valleys and the nilgiris. Then the innumerable birds, the delicious food from Rani the caretaker, the wonderful collection of books, a...

Those four days will remain tucked away in the core of my mind ready to be cherished whenever a getaway is needed from the cacophony of everyday citylife. Love and care are what Sans Souci is built up with. It is sheer pleasure to be indulging oneself in caretaker Rani's warm hospitality while enjoying the rollicking love affair between the...

Very aptly named"Sans Souci" which means no worries in French, this bungalow has a rustic feel and character that instantly rejuvunates your soul! The views from sans souci are overwhelming. We chilled out in this huge spacey bungalow , playing indoor games that Shibani has stacked and the books and DVD's were an added pleasure. The nearby tea estates are...

...it's not the kind of homestay where - when you check in - you are welcomed and made familiar with the place - kinda given an orientation. But more on that later. Let's start from the start. It was very easy to reserve San Souci. We spoke to the owner over the phone, and transferred money online to reserve our...

Dear Prateek and Jasmine From your caustic review it seems like you just chose the wrong Home stay. Sans Souci is old and laid back. Stay , relax, read, eat, walk and enjoy the cloud play and the bird song. The bounties of nature, the huge rooms, the high ceilings, the antique furniture, and be happy that you were fortunate...

Thank you for reviewing Sans Souci in such glowing terms. I am both humbled and pleased.
