The place is great for its location and especially for a leisurely lunch when one may enjoy d view. But the food is not consistent and just average. Can do a lot with better management. Overall like the place more for a home stay

Me and my wife with our one year old daughter visited this hotel for a lunch during our stay at coonoor! The hotel is overrated ! We had French onion soup, and chicken ballismic !! The foods were not at all tasty and not worth for the bucks you spent for!

Make sure you get there only post a reservation. It can be extremely crowded on weekends. Food was average. Nothing extraordinary. Ambience brilliant. Very picturesque... Lots of opportunities for selfies and snapshots. Plenty of space to run about for kids... However, I have a word of caution for those kids running about especially parents who carelessly leave them for themselves,...

Famous for Kapoor and Sons movie shoot. I went with wife and 2 yr old kid long back. Small beautiful villa, well maintained. Problem is you cannot enjoy this lonely place without group. Night it rained and lights went off. No easy way to reach staff which lives in backyard. Had to spend time with kid crying and wife cribing...

Was a memorable trip. My first with our daughter. The hospitality and the place is just great. Used to have our breakfast and lunch in the gardens. Well kept and neat. Service was great as well. Recommend the place highly.

Beautiful place, brilliant view. This is the same house where Kapoor & Sons was shot. Takes long for your order to come, but the food was worth it. They do not serve alcohol, but allow you to get your own.

It is one of the best properties i have ever visited. It would blow you away especially if your taste is for European architecture. The property is superbly maintained. Rooms are very comfortable with clean washrooms. Ideal place for family and if you hate hustle bustle of city. Don`t expect nearby markets or inhouse discos here. Its a place to...

We stayed here for 4 nights this month and took some really awesome memories back home. The property is really beautiful giving a 180 degree view of Coonoor. It is quite well maintained and we lost count of the innumerable varieties of pretty flowers housing the property. The interiors of the room are pretty basic, they could do with a...

We went with our friends for dinner around 8:40. The manager spoke to our friend who went to make a booking in a tremendously rude manner. They said there was no way to accommodate us for dinner, though we saw seats clear up. Refusal of service way before last orders are taken is evidence of how little consideration is provided...

We arrived at 180 McIver villa very excited and looking forward to the bragging rights of having stayed where Kapoor & Sons was shot. We fell in love with the old villa, the beautiful gardens and the spectacular views on the spot. We could not check in right away but they allowed us to stow our luggage until we could....
