Hotel Blue hills. I would advice all tourists to book in this hotel if you are 1.suicidal 2.you want to get bored to the hilt. 3.you enjoy the worst kind of service. 4.fond of getting food from swiggy or zomato. 4.want to be rebuffed by the staff for services they promised.

Recommended by trip advisor.... sticker pasted in the opening door... seriously dear trip advisor?????... if so, Alas... dont expect any standard in this place.. no parking area to park the car... we have parked car in 45 degree angle in the road.. we got the suit (they call it as suit)in 4th floor. The elder people had a herculian task to climb up, as no lift available..My father in law booked this place without going much through tge reviews and he have literally trapped. No cleanliness, staff were rude, tv have one channel only... one tamil news channel. And we got the room in the top and as it is near to terrece area, smell of cigarate smoking all over the floor and my 6 yr old child has suffocation with that.. even the phone in the room is not working....no restaurant available here. As we reached here in 11.00pm, no other way for us to change, with small kids and aged people... A definite no to this place to u... my dear friend. The photos say more...

We planned a trip to Ooty and Coonoor on May 19 and 20, 2018. So we booked 2 rooms for my family (2 adults and 2 children) for check-in dates 18-19 and 19-20 by paying full amount in advance to the hotel a couple of days before reaching the destination. We reached Ooty on 18 and made a call to the hotel and the person over there informed us that he didn't get any confirmation from us for booking online. Actually booking was done by me through clear trip and the hotel person said that clear trip had not disclosed them about our booking. We were shocked to hear about this and got confused. I couldn't understand what was wrong and who was fishing? I got suspicious and opted for cancellation and refund of my money. As I proceeded further, I got duplicate tax invoices for both bookings in my mail inbox saying my refund was Rs.0. Is this justice I ask? I have been cheated by those fraudsters whoever it be (either the hotel itself or the agent cleartrip). The invoice included some charges and services, which we haven't availed, maybe our ghosts have stayed in there before we checked in and have availed all our facilities, which made our refund amount nil. What a funny joke! There were charges mentioned which was difficult to imagine. Anyway we suffered loss and spoiled our trip because of them. We had to spend additional amount for 2 rooms because of their negligence and cheating mentality. I request the concerned higher authorities or officials to look into this matter and protect the public against such online fraudsters. This booking online was my first experience and would be the last one too. My sincere request to the general public to beware of such online fraudsters who create inconvenience and nuisance to the public.

There is no lift in the hotel, they have placed us in second floor. Agreed that on that day there was no vacant rooms at first floor. Place d a request to change the room to first floor for the second day, even though there were vacant rooms, staff declined to change the room. Telephone was not working, no effort to rectify that even after informing the reception, for anything we have to climb-down two stairs for enquiry. There is no room service of food, restaurant cleanliness is not maintained.

I booked stay for one night in blue hills suite room through Cleartrip. When i reached the hotel, the guy at the reception said they did not get any communication on my booking and they dont have suite room available. They looked at my booking voucher, but did not even bother to check with Cleartrip. Another guy came in and said they have a deluxe room available and with no choice i had to take it. The deluxe room was in the corner of third floor and it was terrible. Room was very very old with absolutely no ventilation. They had windows, but a wall behind the windows. No fan, no air circulation, a legacy tv with the size of a laptop with no cable connection, no kettle, no towels, no toiletries, nothing. You could hear everything outside the room and will make sleeping impossible. It does not match with the word "deluxe" in any way. Bathroom was ugly with broken toilet and broken mug. Only good thing was bathroom had a heater and it was working! I did not try their restaurant after looking at their room. It is absolutely not worth the money and unfortunately i paid 1350 looking at fake photos on cleartrip. Its worth 500 or less and that too for the location. My sincere advise to people looking for a decent hotel stay, do not get cheated.

We are staying in this hotel for 2 days during long weekend of Christmas and the experience is very bad. Pros- location is good. In house restaurant(food quality is okay), in house bar Cons- rooms are small and not very much decorated. It's not clean enough. Worst thing is their service and maintenance. They will take 1.30 hour to deliver noodles and they don't even take the waste plates days after eating. No room freshmen whatsoever. There is running hot water but it's just super cold. Bathroom light is so deem. They don't bother to provide any reasons for these problems. I am writing this review from this hotel room now. Hopefully they will see it.

During the long weekend of Independence Day of 2014, me and wife left to Ooty unplanned. We struggled a lot for accommodation at Ooty. The accommodation was too heavy and a great chunk of the budget was lost. We then left to Coonoor the next day, and by the end of our day's trip at Coonoor, we faced again the same crisis where there was no accommodation available. Disappointed, we thought this will be the end of our 3 days trip on the 2nd days night and started heading back when my wife saw this edifice and said, lets give a try and let this be last. and lo! we found a room! yay! and that too affordable for a night's stay. Good view, good food and good staff. Thank you!

It's just a basic accomodation. The room I took was a Deluxe Room but it's just a normal room. The bad thing to say about this accomodation is, you could get hot water only from 7 AM to 10 AM. I don't know what would happen if you want to take bath after that :).
