Tea plantations are beautiful, but it reminds me of cut down tress and lost forests. The road to this plantation stay is jotted with rolling hills of tea estates and the view at times beats the very best . This property is placed where the tea...More
This place is awful, we arrived after a long drive to find a completely deserted, run-down and shabby place. The bedrooms were shabby, the kitchen looked awful. Absolutely nothing charming or interesting about the place. We fled having forfeited our pre-pay.
Visited this lonely adventurous place in May 2018, great place for people looking for a quiet and adventurous stay. We spotted many Bisons and variety for birds. Need to budget at least two nights to enjoy this place. All rooms are differently done. Don’t plan...More

Stayed at Studio room. Waterfall was a short walk by.
Food was decent.
Room were spacious and clean. Staff were courteous. People in the village around were warm.

The estate is big and spread out. The Hornbill house is some 100 mtrs away from the main estate house. Safety is relative, if the kids are older than 10 then it will be adventurous and staying at the Estate House or Pepper House will be easier.
If kids are younger than 10, I would say proceed with caution as the property is remote and there are only 3-4 people managing the whole farmstay, hence the expectation of service and facilities might not be met.
But if you are family looking for an adventure it's a definitely a good one to visit.
