I have visited the bar situated at basement of the hotel. The hotel is situated at end of avinashi road and is easily accessible from main road. The bar is pocket friendly and provides good ambience with variety dishes to spend leisure time. For quivk Get together with pocket friendly
Decent hotel for a stopover of a long journey. Rooms are not very clean and breakfast was below average. Service could have been better. Not suitable for family, better as a business hotel. Overall service needs a big change.
We found this hotel at Avinashi road near highway and have checked in at this hotel at night on our way to Bangalore. Acacia hotel is apprx 5 km from Coimbatore airport and apprx 14 km from Coimbatore Junction Rly station. Acacia is located just beside the Highway hence you neednot have to go in to the city if your are travelling in highway. This is a budget hotel, room size is adequate, room is neat, bathroom is also good, AC was also working without any complaint. Room has the required necessary paraphernalia. Food is available in their restaurant but a bit expensive when compared to their room tariff. We had food before checking in and left early morning and have not taken food from this hotel. Price range of this hotel is below Rs 2000. Being very close to highway, you need to be very careful in taking your vehicle in and out of this hotel and also while taking a U turn in to the other side of the road, as I saw everyone is speeding up through this area. This hotel is very convenient to highway travellers and I rate this hotel as Good.…
I stayed in this property for eight nights and ten days. Though the renovation work was in progress, the stay was comfortable. The intercom was not working and had to use my personal mobile to get in touch for the services. The service at the breakfast area was good. The room service was fine too. The room, though small, was maintained clean and tidy.
Stayed here for 1 night en route to Bangalore. Good for a transit hotel if you are travelling to Kerala or Bangalore and wanted to stay enroute for a night. Its on the Avinashi Road and very close to the Salem-Cochin bypass. I only had the breakfast here and was pretty fine with it. They had dosa, idli, vada, poori ( all freshly prepared - maybe bcoz we had it at 730AM), corn flakes(just ok), eggs, bread toast, some more items which i am not familiar with. The room was just fine and clean. if you are booking on the 4th floor, you need to take the lift to the 3rd floor and then climb up the stairs ( not good :( ). The Fan in the room is at a very low height, so please do not raise your hands while standing! The room was clean with double bed room , the toilet had hot water and was clean too. We didnt get the remote to the TV but it had all the necessary channels including sports and news ( in english). The service is average coz it took them 20 min to serve a cup of tea! The location is amazing as its close to the bypass and also there are some really good restaurants just 1 km away from it. You must visit the Annapoorna restaurant which is just 1 km away from it or the Haribhavanam ( serves nonveg also) which has amazing food. They dont have much space to park, maybe for 3 cars but i was lucky enough to be there on time to get a space. And most importantly its a cost effective hotel compared to Gokulam or Le Meridien which is closeby.…
I was on the way to Trishur and preferred not to drive into Coimbatore for the overnight stay. I had not booked any hotels and I spotted this place just after one takes the over bridge to Coimbatore from the national highway. The person at the reception was kind enough to show me the rooms before I made the booking. He also gave me a very competitive rate which was not the one displayed on the website or social media. Must thank him enough for that. The positivies of the hotel are that it is ideal for transit folks who do not want to get caught in the Coimbatore traffic. The rooms are spic and span and beds were very comfortable. The staff were also young energetic and helpful. The toiletries were also of very good quality and the large TV in the room is good for relaxing. There are several drawbacks too. The car parking cannot accommodate more than 3 cars and we would have to depend on parking on the highway which is risky. The switches in the rooms are poorly designed and it so difficult to find a convenient plug point. Hot water was not available 24/7 and they switched it on when I requested!!! Still I did not get hot water for an early morning bath. The last drawback is that it is next to the highway and the rooms are not sound proof.…
The location is on the highway. The rooms are bit small but neat and tidy. The breakfast had limited options but was good. Would recommend it purely for a transit hotel and not for long stays. The staff was helpful
The service is good in all aspects. The room was neat and the food was nice. The hospitality was appreciable. It is located on a main highway not far from airport. I wish they had provided newspaper to the room.
We had had walked in to this Hotel on our way back from Yercad, We also got a good discount on the tariff as we said we would be skipping the complimentary breakfast, The Room that they provided was very clean and neat, the hotel itself is quite new and well maintained, excellent toiletries. There a re a lot of good eateries around if you want to go out and dine.
We were looking for a transit hotel and just walked in and enquired about the tarriffs; the receptionists, Archana and Manimegalai (I hope I have spelt it correctly) are very smart and enterprising and their charm compelled me not to look for another place! They gave us a discount since we were going to be there for just a few hours. The place is new, and has premium fittings, and good quality tiles, furniture and linens. Toiletries were also good, and even included comb, talcum powder, dental kit; a suprise considering the tarriff! Very clean, very neat, and very polite. Definitely recommend this for anyone who wants a transit hotel, as its conveniently located close to the highway. There are many eateries and bakeries close by, so you have plenty of choice, if you don't want to eat at the restaurant.…
