I stayed in this hotel on my recent trip to Tirupur. This hotel is located near to Coimbatore Railway Station. It is very old famous hotel. There was ample parking space outside the hotel. Very courteous helpful staff. Big neat and clean room having separate drawing area. Food was awesome. Enjoyed many south Indian delicacies both in veg and non veg. This hotel is associated with Fab chain of hotels. They are also having restaurant, sweet shops and bakery in the name of RHR (Royal Hindu Restaurant). It is very old and famous chain of restaurant started in the year 1931. Special thanks to Mr. Guruswamy (owner of this hotel chain) for his special hospitality. I strongly recommend this hotel for your future stay at Coimbatore.
A good bargain for people who visit coimbatore for short stays. Bang opposite to Coimbatore Junction Railway Station, the most easily accessible hotel I ever stayed. Not very modern in layout, the rooms are really spacious and comfortable.
opposite railway station. rooms are spacious.fairly clean...the first time i visited we had decent rooms and better cleanliness. second time we went rooms was ok but bathrom was not so clean and toilet seat was not fixed. since we were there ony for the night so didnt bother too much.food is good and breakfast too. affordable and convenient..it could be bettered a lot more coz it surel has the capacity
Myself along with my hubby got to stay at Hotel Thaai for a couple of days - 10th & 11th Feb'19, the hotel was situated just at a walk-able distance from Railway station. The rooms were neat & Clean, they have charged Rs.1850 per day. Complimentary Breakfast is included along with the stay. Staffs were amicable.
This hotel is located in Prime location. Just opposite to the Railway station. Spacious rooms. Well maintained. This is my second time I am staying here. This time, I did not do any pre booking, it happened so that I need to stay for a day here in Coimbatore. I remembered my previous stay and just entered in without any booking. Reception staff were very very co operative and accommodated me with out any hesitation. Bath rooms are well maintained. WiFi is good. Room service, Bar,Restaurant all are worth for the money. You need to be a Gymnast to operate the TV remote in Room no 303. The TV is in a viewable height, but the Channel box is kept close to the roof. If you want o change the channel then you need to get up every time, raise your hands, align the remote in a particular angle, then some times you may be lucky enough to change the channel. It OK, they may correct it soon. I will stay here whenever I visit this city.…
FabHotel Thaai within a walking distance from Coimbatore Railway station is a reasonably well maintained Hotel. The rooms are very spacious, clean and well maintained. If you have booked online you can get a good value for your money, in the range of INR 1250 -INR 1400/- . The normal printed tariff is INR 2000/- on CP. The complimentary breakfast has a good spread of south Indian cuisine (More Veg options and one Non Veg). The staff are sincere towards their work but refuse to smile as it's NOT a part of the package ! On the flip side, the approach to the property is not very appealing. This hotel is run by RHR group (Sundar & Bros) who have quite a few restaurants in the city including banquet and meeting halls. The Vegetarian restaurant on the main road before entering the complex serves excellent food. Within the complex is available a Bar (Emperor) and a Non Veg restaurant. Halls for functions, conferences available. The main Hall is called HALL FREE , albeit Nothing is free..! Overall, good value for the money spent. However be prepared to pay extra if you check in early on the day of your arrival and there is no room for negotiation. The lift can be well maintained. Rooms Require more toiletries and a shoe shiner! There's a travel desk if one needs help travelling within the city or for train/bus/taxi/flight tickets. Will recommend this Hotel to anybody who has a shoestring budget and prefer to stay close to the railway station to avoid the haggling rude auto-drivers!The property is located next to the Tamil Nadu Police Museum and within a walking distance from Coimbatore Railway station ( Coimbatore Junction). City / Town buses available close to the property for travel anywhere in the city.…
Be careful before booking. They dont have 24 hour checkin and it is not mentioned in the website. Bad customer service. Person does not know how to respond to customers. They dont bother about business.
The hotel is located close to railway station. A good vegetarian restaurant is also near the entrance. Bar located inside the complex provide non vegetarian good. Rooms are neat and clean. Bath towels not upto the mark. Tea kettle is provided in the room. Avoid ordering food from room service as charges are high. It is better to go to restaurants at the entrance or nearby. Convenient for those visiting on business purposes.
Sated at the Fab Thaai recently.. Rooms are good.. Restaurant breakfast was nice, though there were only south indian choice, but they were tasty. They are undergoing renovation, hence outside area was not looking great.fab hotel central reservation was not friendly at all.. rather they were curt.. many of the questions like do they have double or twin beds, they were not sure.. overall a good stay
Stayed at this place and was refurbished. Branded under Fab hotel, this is being refurbished. Rooms are spacious with good infrastructure. Well maintained. However they need to adapt to online booking / services to be provided. Good morning breakfast and well maintained.
