We have done a CME program at Taj Vivanta on Feb 28th Sunday.. *Priyanka* was the coordinator, Exemplary leadership from her, She has organized well.. Excellent Hall arrangements, Good Audio visuals, Nice Ambience, Food quality was also good, We got overwhelming response from the delegates. Only one drawback "Limited number of Manpower at the Dining, One person was managing the Refilling part as well as the cleaning & he is so defensive with his answers & poor response from him".. It would be more fruitful if u would have sufficient Manpower.. Other than that Commandable job by Team Taj Vivanta👏
An old understaffed property that is showing its age and lockdown effects. While the staff exude the old world TAJ hospitality, housekeeping and room service need a revamp. Only the coffee shop and bar were open during our visit and the food and service there as well as the spa and pool were as expected in Taj property. We took a suite room and were very disappointed with the decor amenities and service in the rooms side of the place.
This was my first time visiting Coimbatore and Taj Vivanta. This trip made me realise that even if you don't like a property very much, the service you receive can actually make a world of a difference in elevating your experience and changing your initial distaste towards a hotel. Initially I was considering moving over to another hotel, after the first night. However, the service I received from Mr. Guru Karti upon my arrival made me change my mind. The front desk had wrongly communicated to me earlier that dinner was on at the restaurant till 11:30pm. I was tired from my long day of travel and needless to say I was very hungry. However, when I entered the restaurant at 11pm, I was told the service is over. Guru at this point took over and assured me that I would get whatever I ordered and he made it happen. He handled the situation like an experienced hotelier would have done and made me feel welcome immediately. He gave me his personal phone number and I directly contacted him for anything that I needed. He went out of his way to arrange all the things he could and never said NO for anything. He understood my rushed schedule and helped me every morning by keeping my set breakfast needs ready on the restaurant table before I arrived. I simply had to give him a 5 minute notice. I could see that in every guest that he serviced and it wasn't just special treatment for me alone. He was attentive, respectful, and a very warm individual which is important for you to feel comfortable as a hotel guest anywhere in the world. I can safely say that Guru is undoubtedly capable of being a manager of the hotel and other service staff should learn from his professionalism. I am not the easiest customer to please in any situation, but I have to give my compliments where it's well deserved. I hope the management of this hotel takes note of this as I will definitely stay again if I get service like this. Keep up the good work Guru! …
