We we're 3 ladies who booked 1 a,/c room on 8th Nov 19 and when booking clearly mentioned that we need room which is closely accessible to the reception. We checked in and left our things in the room and left to Palaghat for temple visit. We returning in the right at 11pm and when we tried opening it the door to our school the door was already open and our things were missing. When we approached the reception they gave irresponsible response stating that the room we booked was not good and hence they had kept our things on office room. We we're shocked by the response. Moreover when we checked our baggage our things were missing. We got the hotel owners number from reception and complained him about the service they provided. It was more shocking that he didn't bother about that. Since we were ladies we didn't complain to police. The rooms were dirty, no water, and worst room service. We had to check out room next day without any solution. We would recommend all the public not to choose such hotels which are providing worst customer service. We had travelled all throughout Kerala aand Tamil Nadu and never had such experience…
I had visited this place for business and found it is just about nice. The breakfast options are all good. The room service is nice. The location is also good. I would suggest that it is good for a stay of 3-4 days. Overall, would recommend.
Stayed here because of convenient and quiet location 44m east of the train station. They gave me a room with a bottle of water, a towel and soap. I tried to shower but there was no water, hot or cold. I tried several hours later, same. The front desk refused to help just said have a good trip.
Bed was really comfy, wifi was good, location close to train station. Compared to other budget hotels around the station cleaningless in room was good, but bathroom was disgusting and smelled like piss (but still better than other bathrooms we saw in that price range). Shower was warm and nice. Nice that they rent the room for 24 hours so we could stay in the room during the day before we caught the next train.
Stayed during business visit for one night. Lot of restaurants nearby and good room service. Clean sheets and AC was working fine. I would go back to the hotel on a solo trip. Stay on the fourth floor for better quality rates.
Location is fantastic, we walked from the station to this place. The complimentory breakfast was great and homely. The rooms were spacious and value for money. The beds and comforters are new and great. Worth every penny. The staff were obliging and polite, the only issue was they do not understand cleartrip/goibibo vouchers and how they work. They kept saying we cannot extend the stay if we booked only for one day in cleartrip etc. They need to get educated on these new inventions. Otherwise I would recommend this hotel to anyone for both business and family trips.
Room size is good, clean. bath room needs to be more kept uptodate. Very limited choice for breakfast as part of the deal. No wifi provided. TV are not flat screen. maintained well. clean lift and other areas.
Stayed for a day .Had a phone booking for a non AC room however, since train was late, we arrived in morning to find non ac rooms full.So had to stay in AC room. Nevertheless, it was a very comfortable stay.Rooms are clean , bathroom is clean, linen is clean . Food is served on the top floor .Limited variety but tasty. A very big plus point is it is a DECENT hotel close to the station, though located in a narrow lane , just opposite to the rly stn. A good eating option is the bakery at the lane junction to the main road and a hotel KKR (or was it RRK ,KRK ...something with three initials) which is very good.
I stayed at Aiba Regency just for a day and find it as a decent, neat budget class hotel. The rooms are neat and the toilet was clean and spacious. Breakfast is complimentary, but their dining area is very small with just a few tables on the terrace. With Tariff that is very affordable, it is an ideal hotel for travellers who are budget conscious and yet look for a neat and decent stay.
The hotel is dingy. The appearance of the hotel from outside as well as the entrance into the reception area is not very pleasant. It was a dingy hotel ! The rooms were spacious but not clean. There were stains on the wall and on the bedsheets/blanket. But the location is very good as it is walking distance to the station. I stayed here for a night since the next morning I had to catch a train. The restaurant wasn't appealing either, so we chose to go to a nearby cafe. There are many south indian cafes and restaurants nearby - walking distance. There was no issue with the staff whatsoever. I could hear some funny noises in my room from the corridor and the adjoining room which gave me a disturbed sleep.
