We stayed at Amet Haveli for 2 nights in Oct 2021. This heritage property is maintained very well. We took a lake view room and it was very spacious, we were provided an additional bed for extra charge. One could literally touch the water from the window and in the evening we get a very beautiful view of the City palace which you can enjoy on a nice seat adjacent to the window. Hotel has own boat and we got a very nice sunset boat ride in lake Pichola for Rs. 600 per person. Kids enjoyed the stay and we took many nice photos within the property. Breakfast at "Ambrai" restaurant within the property was very good, lot of options. Dinner is bit expensive though! My only disappointment was that there was a commercial shoot that went on both days and they hogged the open area and it was quite noisy and disturbing. I hope this is not a regular thing. The property is in the old city and hence the road to the hotel is quite narrow and cars get get stuck in traffic, so you would need to switch to an auto if coming by a taxi.

Best ambience, very good food, nice live music, candle light, too good view of lake pichola, leading hotels, boats, city palace. Nice open bar and sitting lounge, best time to visit is night. Very big seating capacity. So usually no waiting. Also, you can spend ample time for drinks and dinner and some photos

Amet Haveli, Udaipur is really a great place to have your stay booked in if you are looking for great views and amazing hospitality. We had booked a lake facing suite and it was really worth it. - service was really great. Hotel staffs were really helpful, especially Charu who took special care to our hospitality. - nice places to take photos in the hotel (we took 50% of our photos in the hotel itself 😂) - the view from the restaurant (lake facing) is also wonderful eapecially at night - proper hygiene maintainance - most of the tourist spots are nearby - scooty renting spot is also at a walking disctance On the whole, it was a great experience. Highly recommend Amet Haveli for your stay in Udaiur.

The hotel is located a really good spot that is the only positive thing that I can think of rest everything is pathetic even pathetic is a understatement. The room do not justify the the prices that they put up there is no duvet instead some really thin and pathetic piece of cloth I suppose . They do not have have a dental kit for god sake a hotel charging you 7k-8k per night on a weekend doesn't have a dental kit and shaving kit. The bathroom fittings have cold and hot written on them but there is no hot water at all. The exaust in the bathroom is almost like not one there. The WC is very uncomfortable believe. I can literally feel the cost cutting in places. The runner on the bed had holes which most probably were done by someone who must have smoked on it. I don't know for how long the air conditioner was unserviced. Even working on 20 degree it felt like 25 or 27 degree. No cooling at all. Let's come to the so called breakfast i had a mushroom and cheese omlette which was decent that i would appreciate but nothing for my partner she had to sit without having breakfast basic things like cereal, or beans or any light prepration one can have for breakfast was available only mooli parantha, puri bhaji , bread pakora and poha. I asked for a sandwich and and they were like you'll have to pay for that. And the linen was really bad gave us skin irritation. The staff was rude, like you guys cannot afford us just go. The manager who checked us in had no intrest like yeah whatever. The lower level management like the house keeper and the watchmen are better then them greeted us politely. All and all if you want to regret paying for your hard earned money you can try the place and if not choose something that is far far better. Service 1/10 Food 5/10 Room 3/10 Amenities 1/10 Courtesy 3/10 (because of the few staff)

It was a small family trip with kids around us. The location, the rooms, the hospitality was out of the world. The staff, especially Charu went out of their way to make sure we are extremely comfortable and have everything that we need.
