Beautifully renovated haveli with great charm and style.....easy walking distance to the City Palace, boat trips, etc. Excellent service (airport transfers, etc), always with a smile, and overall an exceptional value. Breakfast choices are limited and the one drawback is that the lovely rooftop restaurant doesn't serve Kingfisher!

This is the best hotel we stayed at in India. You would never guess that this haveli is hidden away in this bustling city. Once you enter the hotel, you will be welcomed into a complete oasis. The rooms are spotlessly clean. The rooftop restaurant is so relaxing with beautiful views of the city and palace. The staff is excellent...

Madri Haveli is a perfect stay for everyone who is here to travel and explore the city. Situated right in the centre of the city, it is at a very short distance from the main attractions of the city. The local market nearby is a treat to visit. The staff is very welcoming and helpful and the rooms and all...

This a quaint hotel, which is a restored Indian "Haveli" or old mansion in the heart old Udaipur. It is great place to explore this part of the city ( City Palace, Lake Pichhola, etc). It's location is big plus in above context but it also means that it is not accessible at the doorstep of the hotel by car...

We recommend Madri Haveli very highly. The building and decor are lovely, the staff are superb and the location is excellent. We had one of the fabulous large rooms and also one of the standard rooms. Both lovely. We really enjoyed the roof top restaurant. The food was very good and the host there was a delight. The hotel is...

This Haveli used to be the city palace of one of the Maharana' s sons, but he didn't want to live in the city any more. So it was bought by a french investore and built into this stunning, cute little hotel. The combiantion of old and new styles is fascinating. We stayed in the baby suite and really enjoyed...

This hotel was an oasis in the noise and busyness of the surrounding area. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. Our room (101) was large with a window seat and a good sized bathroom. The bed was very comfortable. It was quite dark as there was only one little window to open. (the rest are coloured glass and look...

We stayed at the Haveli for four nights. The staff were amazing! Breakfast and evening meals were served on the terrace and were fresh and tasty. The Haveli has been fantastically renovated and for the first three nights we stayed in the Big Suite. A stunning room full of charectar and style. We had arranged the smaller Suite Room which...

We stayed here for 3 nights at the beginning of a trip to India and loved it. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The room we stayed in was tastefully decorated and made you feel like you were staying in a luxury boutique but kept a traditional feel. Location is great as everything is on your doorstep and you...

A fantastic property in the heart of Udaipur's tiny laneways. The only room available when we first checked in was a standard non-AC room - although a little hot we loved the style and design of it - especially the stone bathroom. The management were extremely helpful and managed to get a Deluxe AC room for us for the next...
