Unlike many hotels in Udaipur which liberally use the term 'Haveli' in their names, Madri Haveli is a beautiful 300 year old heritage property that lives up the billing. The staff are very friendly and attentive, the rooms have a great charm while being very clean. The solid stone is quite impressive. It is true that smaller rooms can be cramped and very dark, it is worth splurging for deluxe rooms to get more space and light and that makes this hotel definitely worth it.
This place is a beautiful craft of heritage. Located right in the heart of traditionally old town of Udaipur this place gives you a right aroma of a Rajasthani essence. Rooms are spectacular, decently sized, adequate amenities, very thoughtfully designed. We had a seemless check in and the receptionist (Deepak) also helped find the way to get here from airport. Since its located in the old city he arranged a auto to get us from the narrow lanes. The rooftop restaurant has a spectacular view surrounded by all touristic sights of Udaipur. The cuisine is rightly set to meet travellers from all across. The chef (Lal Singh) and steward (Tufaan Ji) were outstanding at their service and were always happy to take our request. Our long stay could only be made memorable by endless services pulled off spectacularly by everyone behind running this property.…
Nice boutique hotel in the heart of Udaipur This is a nice little hotel right in the heart of the old city, obtained from an old family house. Few minutes walking from everywhere. It is in a tiny street where unfortunately cars cannot drive but the hotel personnel will help you with your luggage when checking in or out. The rooms are of good size, with stone walls and cool. People are very nice and helpful. The restaurant on the roof has good food although the list is relatively short. Very nice view of the whole city from the roof of the hotel.
Stylish city townhouse with gorgeous rooms Lovely service and great style and this beautiful guesthouse. Good location for exploring udaipur. We weren't wowed by the restaurant but there are so many great places to eat locally that it didn't matter. I'd definitely stay again.
Beautifully restored haveli You enter a maze of beautiful courtyards, with steep stairs and amazing stone work, a mix of old and new. Very recent beautiful restoration job. Pleasant room, nice staff, very professional. Rooftop has an amazing view.
Everything was great. The rooms were clean, the location was good, the rooftop dining area was nice, the staff was helpful and polite. As we had to leave very early at the morning in order to get our flight the staff even has had prepared some breakfast to go for us.
We stayed here for five nights and the hotel was the best part about our trip to Udaipur. The staff is so warm , hospitable and generous in their service. Everything was perfect!!. Perfect amazing place!Very warm services
Charming heritage hotel Location in old city thus you may face a difficulty in accessing the hotel if you are in a car. A small walk is required. However the old city location adds to the charm. Hot water available on request post the hours mentioned. Excellent view from rooftop. Fantastic ambience. Rooms and bathrooms are rustic and take you back in the olden times.
Rooms are tastefully decorated, comfortable and invite to voyage. The staff is friendly, smiling and very caring. Location is very good, in a quiet street close to the principal to do things. There is a good restaurant on the rooftop with a nice view of the city, lake and mountains. Excellent value for money!
We had an absolutely amazing time in Madri Haveli. Learned a lot about it past and how it become to be a hotel. The building itself is well designed and kept amazingly clean. I would definitely stay there again. The rooftop offers stunning view over the city, and the staff is attentive. Overall georgious stay in beautiful city.
