Stayed at this hotel for a couple of days during our marriage anniversary. Nestled in the heart of the city, it offers a panoramic view of Lake Pichola, right from the balcony and provides a royal experience by virtue its antique architecture. It’s a treat for anyone who appreciates a heritage living in the realms of nature. The staff are extremely courteous and helpful, managed by Mr Yogendra. He ensures they go the distance to make the stay of visitors, one to remember. I highly recommend Hotel Lake Pichola to anyone visiting Udaipur.
Stay could be good but the staff and especially Mr. Yogendra from their team is so rude and unprofessional and also talks with the guests like there is only one restaurant or hotel on whole Udaipur. I will surely avoid this hotel just because of him. And he also believes that he can talk with anyone like anyway he wants. When I asked who is the senior then he told that I am only one senior here and do whatever you want to do. Kudos to the confidence.!
I was thrilled to return to stay at Lake Pichola Hotel with my group! To arrive by boat was very special. Everyone just loved their two nights at the hotel, especially being able to sit on the balcony and watch life on the lake. The rooms are very comfortable and good beds. Dinner at the rooftop restaurant was very special and we all enjoyed our breakfasts. Can't wait to take another group back
This is my second visit to the hotel and the rooms and all lake facing and this time we had Room facing the Gangaur ghat and as it was Dev Diwali we had a spectacular view of the ghat with people burning diyas and flowing it in the lake, even the Upre dinner was superb as always the service was great with again a great dining experience with wonderful views of the whole place, ghats being lit up. Special thanks to Tilak for making the stay comfortable and smooth check in check out, cannot wait to come again next year again for Dev Diwali, Cheers to Lake Pichola!!
My stay was comfortable and in budget, the lake view is very beautiful from the terrace and room. It was completely same as was shown in picture. The food is a bit overrated though but all other thing is good, it's surrounded with lot of shops and spa centres.
The staff, the ambience, the people in the hotel were the only nice people we met in udaipur. I cannot lie the only reason our trip was nice because of the hotel. We were planning to switch hotels after 2 nights but after looking around and checking out other options around us we decided to stay in the hotel itself because none of the other premises looked as aesthetic and the staff was very geniune and reliable. The staff felt like family after our 5 day stay.. The owners are also very humble, down to earth and lovely to talk to. Special post mentions to all the three doggos and the birds keeping the place lively and morning's cheerful. The lakeside was properly sanitised and there was no odor whatsoever in the whole property including the lakeside as we had experienced that in…
I arrived very early (7am) by train from Agra, but it was no Problem to check-in. So I could take a shower and a nap before discovering the beautifull City. The food was good, the Restaurant with the view impressiv and even with live music. Also they arranged my travel to Monsoon place and a great Massage. The stuff was very nice and helpfull to me. I had a great time at this hotel.
Have stayed here 3 times now. A must stay in Udaipur amazing service and the restaurant food and views are incredible. Easy access to places to visit shopping is great. Will be back to stay here again
One of the most Aesthetic places in udaipur was lake Pichola hotel....we booked two rooms on ground floor with Lake view. The location is amazing because it is centrally located and all the places are walking distance. Special shoutout to Yogendraji for helping us out at every step...
The best point of this hotel is the location. The lobby staff taking charge of the luggage and the transfer by e-rickshaw to the parking lot outside of the old town were also very friendly and helpful. However we had not a good experience here. Having booked an expensive lake view room, which is advertised on booking.com as having a private balcony, we got a room on the ground floor just next to the restaurant. All the rooms with balcony were occupied - our booking was however 5 months in advance, so I wonder how they allocate the “good” rooms. Of course we were charged the full price. But back to our room: During our stay, people were using “our” supposedly private space in front of the room to have their lunch and their dinner. Their empty plates stayed there for hours as the…
