This property is maintained and run by the HRH group. In very close proximity to the city palace, Jagdeesh Mandir and Pichola lake. Walkable distance. This has many rooms with a city view and less with lake view. Because only one section of the hotel can get the lake view. The HRH residence and Fateh Prakash Palace are between this property and the lake. The food is ok. Breakfast has good spread. The restaurant staff do need to be more available though.
One of my best vacations was in and Shiv Niwas Palace made it even more special ! This hotel is situated within the City Palace complex so there is no second thoughts on the location. We had a terrace suite room which had a great view of the Picchola lake from the private balcony. Food was truly amazing and the staff at the restaurant were extremely friendly and catered to all our needs. A visit to Udaipur is incomplete without a stay in this beautiful heritage property !
I stayed at Shiv Niwas palace and it was the most amazing stay. My room was terrace suite with wonderful view of the lake pichola. The room has a big terrace sit out and has sunbed to unwind the day with a glass of wine and view of the sunset behind the mountains above the lake. Words cant describe the amazing views . The hospitality great and they always greet you with smile and you will have a personalised experience. This hotel is situated in the city palace complex and one can enjoy the old architecture in the premises . I took my every meal there in the restaurant and it was very good . The food is tasty and the servers are accommodating and quick . View from the balcony and terrace sit out .
Excellent Palace Experience, Such a nicely maintained beautiful property. Evening Lighting at Palace is amazing, it really gets us into a stance of Meditation. Nice View, with pleasant stay. Limited Food spread, but having a Royal Touch... Worth to visit again...
I am glad I booked shiv niwas palace. My vacation was memorable. Stayed at the room with private sit out. The view was breathtaking. The staff is very humble and sweet. If you stay in shiv niwas palace, you need not go out of the palace. The day will be spent brilliantly in the palace
