Staying at the Sierra has its own comfort and convenience. The staff starting from the Front desk to the restaurant and bar were professional and nice. Be it Imran from the room service or the guys at the breakfast counter, they were warm and welcoming. Housekeeping was excellent as they surprised you with a room decoration when you return back to relax at the hotel. The hotel itself is located near to all the sightseeing places in Udaipur. City Palace, Fateh Sagar Lake, Lake Pichola, are minutes away from the hotel. It's recommended to hire an auto due to small congested roads. Driving is recommended in case you have a small car. Apparently the place is recommended for leisure travelers coming to have a quite and enjoyable weekend at Udaipur.

This is a beautiful boutique property. it's like being able to have a luxury stay on a budget. The property has aesthetic wall murals all over, that immediately puts you at rest.
Our room was spacious with a little Udaipur style sitting area near the window where we took beautiful pictures and it had a separate big changing/storage area to put all our luggage at so it doesn't clutter the room. Service was good, staff was polite and the food at their inhouse Rooftop restaurant was worth every rupee.
Since we had traveled to Udaipur by car, the best part was that they had ample parking space in contrast to properties in the old city. Would definitely recommend to book your stay here.

A wonderful property located in a posh and quiet surroundings yet within reach of the main hub in few minutes.
The rooms are designed very tastefully giving amazing views of the lake and mountains that are the charm of Udaipur. Modern facilities are blended graciously with traditional walls and ceilings. Every small detail is worth appreciating.The rooms, curtains, chairs were all clean and kept well.
The staff is very helpful and welcoming, our special thanks to Mr. Ankit for his tour tips and restaurant suggestions.
The rooftop restaurant, SOUL however wins the applause as it is beautifully overlooking the mountains and the warm sunshine with the cool breeze was extremely soothing. The breakfast has a good spread and they were very kind to accommodate our requests of made on order.
We have found home away from home and shall recommend all our friends and family to stay at The Sierra to enjoy their hospitality and good views.

On the outside it might just look like another hotel, but when you enter everything changes with beautiful pastel colors, wall paintings all around. Rooms are really spacious with large comfortable beds and beautiful blue and white theme. Room service was quick and they have a happening rooftop bar and cafe which serves some really good food and cocktails.

Lets make it easier, Friday Saturday n Sunday they book reservations from open crowd in udaipur and they completely forget on the people living in their own property for stay.
Asking for a extra water bottle takes them 2-3 hours (best part is they were absolutely spot on everyday even after saying politely or blasting them out, it doesnt matter to them).
They openly say sorry we have a lot of crowd and we cannot accommodate on immediate basis and apparently this happened with almost everyone only who was staying in this property.
The staff does not have any idea how to even speak to the customers, this is specifically for the Managers here, the waiters/housekeeping staff tried very well to ensure I had a good stay, however the managers does not really care and where more concerned about the open crowd coming in and not the people staying. Even asking for an additional pillow was chargeable.
Talking on breakfast, practically 3-4 options available only to eat, anything new or extra is chargeable (was not suprised here now), but even to start the day with a good breakfast.... Just not happening!
Talking about safety protocols, no masks, no social distancing, no maximum number of crowd to be at the restaurant, no temperature checks, no santiziation available.
A person named Gholu (some of the relative of the owner) is the most pathetic guy here. I just request for something to be looked upon here and that guy just needs to ensure his body/abs/style should be up to the mark, forget about the customers staying.
I will only recommend this property for the people who doesn't really care on the service. Giving it 1 star on the basis of room only, the only thing you will like, the view and the room is the only point of interest you can see here.

Sierra by the Lake is a mixed bag of experiences. While the property boasts beautifully designed rooms, an accessible location, and a vibrant rooftop restaurant, there are areas where the service could be improved.
On the positive side, the rooms are tastefully decorated and comfortable, and the rooftop restaurant is a definite highlight. The ambiance and quality of food add to the charm, making it a great spot to unwind, especially on weekends.
However, certain aspects of the experience fell short. The check-in process was chaotic due to a large wedding party staying at the property, leading to some confusion. Room service also left much to be desired—there were no towels in the room upon check-in, and even after the room was cleaned on the second day, towels were still missing. At one point, the water supply in the bathroom ran out, though this issue was resolved quickly.
Given that the property charges ₹8,000 per night, the overall experience needs to be more polished to justify the price. Attention to detail and smoother service would greatly enhance guest satisfaction.
It’s worth noting that the rooftop restaurant plays music until 1 AM on weekends. While I didn’t find this disruptive, those seeking a quieter stay may want to consider this before booking.
In summary, Sierra by the Lake has a lot of potential, but some service-related refinements are needed to make it a truly premium experience.

This has been one of my best experiences. It was our first time in Udaipur and the hospitality was amazing. Rooms are spacious and gorgeous The staff was absolutely amazing. Overal decor is lovely, definitely worth it 24hour reception that will get you whatever you need. Masks and sensitizars at every entry, well equipped hotel A Special thanks to the owner he was absolutely helpful, kind and very understanding. We had planned to stay for 4nights but we just had to extend our stay

The staff was amazing , we really enjoyed our stay there , rooms very big and worth the price , we had planned to stay for 4 nights and we actually add one more night 🤩😍✨ The restaurant is very cozy and food is nice . A fantastic stay! The rooms were spotless, the staff was incredibly attentive, the breakfast buffet was delicious, and the location was perfect for exploring the city. The hotel had everything we needed for a pleasant stay, will definitely return.

Pathetic!! The male staff at the reception was extremely rude. I had an incident where
accidentally had stained my sheet a bit and they sent 3 male staff to check the sheets in front of me and won't let my friends enter in the room until short this place is NOT WOMEN OR KID FRIENDLY
