Nayee Haveli is an authentic Haveli in Old Udaipur, with original parts that are 100 years old. It is located on a typical Ghat on a narrow winding street, beside the lake. Experience local life from hearing the ringing of temple bells to the mezzuin calling from the mosque, watch in amazement as cows meander amidst the rickshaws and colorful sari-clad ladies wash clothes at the edge of the lake. The rooftop terrace has spectacular views over Lake Pichola, breathtakingly beautiful in the morning and at sunset. You can relax with a Masala tea, have a tasty traditional meal or just chill out and enjoy the view. This small friendly hotel has an authentic atmosphere from the narrow staircases to the shabby chic rooms which are clean and comfortable, and is a real home from home.

We had a very nice stay here. The rooms are very clean and the beds are comfortable and we were at the lakeside where you have a beautiful view. Also from here you reach everything in a few minutes. The people here are very helpful and give you good information about what you can do around here.

Hotel bookings managed by fraud person. I had booking at this hotel with full advance payment from Yatra. After reaching on the spot they denied checking and the person was not answering calls from Yatra team. The front office staff people were unprofessional and they were asking to talk to the person who is neither at hotel nor answering calls. Cheap people they had no inclination to Indian tourists because they are getting higher amount for spot bookings by foreigner tourists. Thanks to team Yatra that they were able to arrange alternate booking.

We chose this lovely haveli based on its beautiful location. The owner was really responsive & organised, & extremely welcoming. We arrived on 2 motorbikes & nothing was too much trouble. The room had a gorgeous decor & a great view of the lake. Udaipur & this haveli really dazzled us.

Beautiful location with full view of Lake Pichola , Nayi Haveli mixes charm of old world Rajasthan with modern day traveling needs. Hotel staff is courteous and it is super safe as well. Totally recommended for couples and solo travellers.

We decided to stay at this hotel during our recent 2 nights visit to Udaipur to celebrate our anniversary but was highly disappointed with this hotel or so called guest house! The hotel is located at old city of Udaipur just adjacent to Pichola lake, around 3kms away from the Udaipur railway station but the place is very congested with lot of roof top restaurants nearby! Our hotel - I rated two just because of two reasons - the lake view room and the roof top restaurant (candle light) where we spent two evenings! Negatives - the cleanliness of the restroom was pathetic, response from the hotel Staff was not positive always, didn’t provide even a single bottle water as a part of the room (we paid ₹ 2700 for two nights without breakfast and considering this categories of hotel generally does provide one bottle water per day), the basic amenities in a room are missing, TV was not working - no batteries in the remote! But had hot water facility in the room! Overall a big no to stay here and within the same price bracket you will get good online deals near to Lake Pichola hotels! Based purely out of me and my wife’s experience we will not recommend this hotel / Guest house!

We were looking forward to our stay here after reading some of the rave reviews but on arrival we were shocked at the condition of our original room. Dirty and stained sheets, no duvet but a blanket that was grey were it should have been cream (clearly had not been washed in a while) moth holes in cushions on the bed and very dark and dingy room with no light. We complained and the staff kindly upgraded us to a different room. It was mildly cleaner although they offered to change the sheets for us which made us question whether they had even been changed at all! Questionable stains and marks on the walls and ceilings and just overall not a clean place to stay - and that’s before we even looked at the bathroom! The upgraded room was right outside the restaurant so expect noise until around midnight - ear plugs were a must. And then the staff seemed to like to shout to one another late into the evening and then early hours of the morning causing disturbed sleep and a real lack of respect for guests. Don’t stay here if you can help it.
