We stayed in this hotel for one night due to its proximity to main attractions of Udaipur. The staff seems courteous, and just a call away in case of any issue. However, how would you like it if they impose you a room whose bathroom stinks of SHI* a few hours after you check in? And the stink just gets more and more intense?? Well, the smell was very mild when we checked in, and they told us that it is possibly due to lack of ventilation. We believed them (our mistake). They used a freshener and the bathroom was bearable. But after a few hours, again the same thing. Again freshener was sprayed. We returned to hotel at night after sightseeing, and the smell was hell unbearable. Forget about our suffering due to smell while using the washroom, we had to keep its door tightly locked so that we can sleep!.. The smell was all there in the room !!! Pathetic experience.. Since it was just about one night, we had to go on with whatever it was. Next morning before checkout, we again asked them for freshener spray, which was done without delay. However, the smell was already so intensive that even the freshener was ineffective. We somehow used to bathroom for basics, by using masks. We Almost Puked While Brushing because of that Smell of Shi*... Oh God!!! If they say that they Do Not Even Know that their room 206 has any issues with Drainage, I will not believe them. They can't be ignorant of the severe drainage problems. Yet, to make their MONEY, they imposed that room to us. Dear Mr Manager, such acts are not appropriate, and are unethical. You could have provided us a room with higher tariff, that was not a problem at all. But you should have ensured our comfort first. Please do not even make the rooms with drainage issues available for anyone, even if they cost low. What you did, is nothing but making a fool of others. It was a very SAD experience for my sister and I.…
the rooftop restaurant offers an excellent view of old udaipur. the food is always fresh and quickly prepared. friendly, courteous staff and good quality of food. we like to come back. Ralf and Jana..
Greatest view from the rooftop restaurant and the crew super helpful. We had most of our meals at Panorama as the hotel lays centrally located in the older part of Udaipur. An elevator will bring you directly up to the rooftop restaurant in the near future. Cheers // Jan
I stayed here on recommendation but wasn’t very impressed I had to ask them to clean my room and change the sheets or they just wouldn’t have bothered.food was good and not over priced but the place definitely needs a make over
Month of traveling India and so far this has been the best hotel, had a really beautiful balcony view, the rooms have nice decor and are clean and everything works!!! Arrived in late and staff still made a good curry no problem. Location is perfect to. Even has a turtle on the terrace 😍
We stayed for 2 nights, 3 days and it was the most comfortable stay for us in Rajasthan. Athough the location was not in a very idea place it is still accessible through an Ola or uber auto. I would suggest not booking a cab from the airport to this place because the cab cannot pass through the small lanes and they will make a fuss and the auto drivers charge extra (unless u have a lot of luggage). The hotel staff was friendly and understanding. The food is at an average price and the view is really pretty. Everything in the room from bathroom facilities to space, comfort was taken care of very well. I would definitely recommend this hotel for your stay In Udaipur.
Stayed here for a night as it is in the centre to visit Palace ,Jagdish temple, shopping . Homely and clean place. Restuarant is also good with very good view of udipur. GOOD place to stay. Rooms was colorful . On the whole had a pleasant stay.
I had stayed here for 2 nights with my family, we checked in on 24 Feb and checked out on 26 Feb morning. We had booked Panorama suite as we were 4 adults. We had an amazing stay here, owner Mr. Krishna Singh was really helpful throughout the stay and even after that. He arranged a tuktuk for our Udaipur sightseeing, driver Abdul chacha was very humble. When we were at Jodhpur we needed one way cab to Jaisalmer Sand Dunes,He helped arranged cab for us at best possible price for one way when everyone was charging for two way fares. Hotel has amazing rooftop restaurant which serves great food. I would definitely recommend this hotel for your next stay in Udaipur.
They didnt give us the room that weve booked in day 1. And to make it worse they tried to move us to a room with no windows on day 2. The kitchen toilet was full of moth balls and it wasnt sanitary. Their restaurant food is just a disappointment, better consider some options outside..
This hotel was a total disappointment from day 1. We booked on booking.com 3 nights room with best view. Then immediately received email saying they didn't have the room booked on the first night, just the 2nd and 3rd. We reluctantly agreed not having a choice given that they would keep our money if we cancelled (they refused to cancel). When the changeover day came, they tried to put us in a driver's room on the ground floor with no windows (not the room we booked), so they lied to us a second time. They did then move us to the correct room hours later after insisting, having kicked out some other guests who they had double booked. The whole time the manager was pathetic, a liar, and never once apologised for all of the problems which he caused. Would have ruined our trip to Udaipur if we'd let it. AVOID. Also the noise in this hotel is so bad - particularly with guests and outsiders going to and from the restaraunt…
