Perfectly clean, obviously well loved hotel with a good view of the lake. Neeraj the owner is friendly and welcoming and does a great cup of tea. And it's right in the heart of town. An excellent choice, would recommend.

Stayed there only for 1 night, but still, the owner was very nice, the rooms were clean and comfortable. we also felt it was safe ro leave our lugagge there for free after checkout, as we spent the day walking around in the city waiting for our sleeper bus to leave at that evening. Lake face was great and available for us to crash for that night.

We stayed at Lake Face for three nights as part of a tour and were very pleased with our room and the warm welcome of Neeraj. View from the room was also a highlight, looking out over the lake. Neeraj provides breakfast for us on the last morning which was delicious. Highly recommended!

This guest house is ideal if you are looking for an excellent location and just a short walk from the hustle and bustle of Udaipur. Primarily, the view of the lake from the balcony is gorgeous. Five minutes to get into the main areas, cafes and restaurants of Udaipur and just over ten minutes by foot to the beautiful palace and museum. The room is a great size, with a private bathroom with hot water. Bed is comfortable and the fan keeps you cool throughout the night. The best part of our stay here was Neeraj, the owner. He was incredibly helpful, made us feel relaxed immediately, cooked us as tasty a breakfast as we have had in India, and even helped us get some water late at night when we stupidly didn't have enough. :) It is a lovely place to stay, particularly if you want to feel like you are staying local to get a true sense of the beautiful city of Udaipur.…
