A nice place for a friends and family lunch or dinner with a royal ambience. The restaurant houses a vintage car collection which guests can witness before or after your meals. Makes for a good photo opportunity for the entire family. The food is enjoyable as well!
I traveled with family and toddler, stayed in 3 days. Very comfortable stay nd they prepared food for toddler on request..we had pleasant stay but complimentary breakfast didn't have many options and they took long time to prepare that...
Very nice hotel with good food and great ambience. Bishan lal very good manager and ready to help you with all your needs. Ground floor lounge also very super to hang out with family enjoyed a lot will visit again
One of the best hotel. Very clean. Friendly staff. Very comfortable rooms. Food was awsome but costly. Opposite to rose garden. 150 years old property. Centrally located. Old petrol station is in the premises. Vintage car collection is nearby.
Worst and tasteless Food is served in the name of Veg Thali. It seems stale food was served. One of family members had vommitings after eating the thali. Would not recommend anyone to visit the Restaurant within hotel and have food here !!! They are serving Basi food in name of royalness.
Over hyped ! Do not go by ratings ! Pune Mumbai had better Rajasthani thali and hotels with better taste ! Sorry to say but the food was totally tasteless ! Absolutely avoidable ! Hence avoid having lunch or dinner here !
Real nice spacious room . Very clean and nice touches all round . Staff as usual extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast the usual standard for India so therefore not bad at all. Location is just far enough outside the mayhem and 5 minutes in tuk tuk to the lake and other attractions there. I guess the only slight downside is the room (209) was close to the bar so we had music and chat till about 11 pm .. would definitely choose this place again
Stayed here for 3 nights. Initially impressed with the quaint rooms my impression didn’t last long. The following made my stay very frustrating. 1- The restaurant is very mediocre with only Nescafé coffee and no real coffee. 2- Hot water took 20-30 mins to heat up and one evening it simply did not work, I had to call reception 3 times for them to get someone to come have a look. 3- the service is rather poor, for instance I asked for room service, a brownie and hot chocolate. I called 3 times to ask how long it would take, ended up taking about 45 minutes. The brownie was so dry it was a biscuit and they forgot to add the ice cream to the brownie. The hot chocolate tasted like it was made with some type of cheap chocolate mix. 4- there is a tiny heater in the room that makes a roaring sound so you end up turning it off anyway. 5- the service at the restaurant is poor, we asked for butter and it came after the food was cold so it was pointless. Also we ordered a cappuccino and the first waiter said sure, 10 mins laster we reminded another waiter he said sure, 5 mins later we reminded a third waiter and he informed us they don’t make cappuccinos. Overall if you want a cute room it’s a good place but don’t expect much more from the King of Mewar’s hotel, which also strangely has a philanthropy magazine of sorts next to the bedside table that practically states the poor king was stripped of his status and has to now pay taxes on assets and therefore is having a difficult time. So I guess you could stay here to support the poor king.…
We stayed at the hotel for 3 days. Very well located and great place for a wonderful experience. The restaurant is good and they serve good breakfast. Located in a busy street but yet quiet and calm. Well maintained property by the HRH Group
The place is located close to city palace and right in front of gulab bhag. The staff is friendly . Service is good. Breakfast served is good, but their method is not. They provide per table service which is time consuming. Instead should have put a buffet as the breakfast is complimentary. This saves time for tourists who have their sightseeing itenanry. The hotel should work for better breakfast arrangement. I had to spend 1hr for a breakfast. Otherwise it's a recommended stay.
