I visited Udaipur with family on a weekend and booked room as walk in . Pawan Sisodia is very decent at reception to handle overall operations . Rooms are small but very much comfortable esp. mattress and other amenities . Its value for money . The roof top cafe is having a clear view of Lake pichola . Cafe is expensive in comp. To other city cafes , may be it's in city center that's why . Satyanarayan ji at breakfast is one man army ....handling things alone at front . Dinesh and pareek ji ( Housekeeping ) are doing there part very well . Keep up the good work . Overall a amazing family getaway at Banjara . Loves . GS
though the staff is very cooperative and good and the cafe has good ambience but coming to domstay it was not good, it smells a lot with sctrached mirror and the washroom stinks. With this kind of room we all 4people had very bad experience but the staff was very good.
I was stayed Banjara hostels for 2 nights. This hostel is best for budget travelers. Hostels provide complimentary breakfast in stay price. So I choose a this hostel and location of this hostel is very good many tourists attractions near hostel like Jagdish Temple, City Palace and Bagore ki haveli. So if u are budget travelers you can book this hostel for stay.
Pleasantly surprised, we got upgraded to the super deluxe room which was clean and well maintained. The staff was extremely polite and helpful and the location apt for visiting popular attractions. Would recommend.
The hostel is not so good, common room was under maintenance. The beds were not that good, too.much dust. They would not come for cleaning, you will have to ask for it every now and than. The washroom was having a window from where the outsiders can see everything clearly, no security. The hot water was of solar so not that hot, you will find it difficult to bath in 6 degree. The restaurant was open for all so they will not allow you to work from that. The wifi was very poor, couldn't relay on that. The staff was comparatively helpful atleast. The restaurant was quite expensive and food was not at all good on 31st dec 2020 night. The breakfast was also ok, not so good not so bad. Hope they will consider this reviews.
Don't go for it, it's totally worst for travellers nobody's their I'm totally disappointed, their Dom's are bad and Atmos too and food taste is very bad and price is high ,if you're traveller then go moustache or go stops.
It's a good place to stay if you are on a show string budget. The good part about this place is that their rooftop restaurant serves breakfast, included in the tariff. Booking a month in advance is essential, as it tends to get full during season time. Also, it's located right in the heart of the city centre
We were moved from the first family room because the kids’ beds were a mattress on the floor and a mattress on a kind of stone platform - totally unsuitable. The second room was better with 2 double beds but the sheets had to be changed because they were dirty. The floor we were on was in the same floor as some kind of doss house filled with men wrapped in blankets. In the evening and nighttime the noise from the restaurant/live music venue on the top floor was deafening. The place was filthy- and we’ve stayed in many different classes of hotel/guesthouse in India, a heater we asked for set the wall socket on fire - the response to this was to try it in another socket! I could go on about how rubbish this place is but I think you get the idea.
Yes, there is a hostel within the “retreat” part of the facility. Yes, there were people/staff sleeping in the lobby. Yes, you could hear the city noise from your room. However, the restaurant up stairs is delicious and the roof top views are beautiful! My room was clean and they happily provided extra towels and helped move our luggage from the room to the taxi downstairs in the parking lot since it was far from the hotel. This is a good place for young people that don’t mind noise.
A friend recommended this place because of the rooftop and what a rooftop it has! You can see the beautiful lake and sunsets, they have nice music on weekends. Breakfast is good, they have the most amazing porridge I’ve ever had in Asia. The hostel is two blocks from the Jagdish Temple and City Palace; you can also find local sweets near it. The staff is great, when you first arrive they give you a small guide of things you can do each day to cover Udaipur. Ask them to go with you for a hike to Badi Lake, they’ll be great company.
