Loved this place! One of the best experiences I have ever had and I did not want to leave. This place is beautiful, the staff are very attentive and they have thought of everything. Never stayed anywhere so thoughtful! Food was amazing, tour of the grounds was fab and game drives just awesome. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Would love to return some day.
Stayed in a villa which was really lovely with a private terrace looking out towards the hills. The location is beautiful with lots of restful places to sit and relax with very helpful staff. Water is supplied when out on safari together with blankets and hot water bottles in the early mornings.
We spent 2 days here. The place is exceptionally attractive, characterful villas, cottages, and tents set in extensive, very lush grounds. The vegetarian food is extremely good. The staff are very helpful including naturalists. The location, far from the strip, is quiet ( except for birdsong) and delightful.
A great place to base your stay when in Ranthambore. The welcome by Manvendra (the resort manager) set the tone for the whole stay. We stayed in one of the Cottages which overlooked the pond/lake and had crocodiles basking and swimming around in it. Furnished to a high standard it came with an outside plunge bath and sun loungers. The early morning Safaris start around 5:30 - 6:00 with a wake up call, which is either tea or coffee brought to your cottage. They also provide hot water bottles, blankets and a packed snack. The staff are all very accommodating and go out of their way to please. The food was mostly vegetarian which made a nice change. We wish we could have stayed longer as the grounds are a wonderful place to relax and unwind. The bonus was seeing a Leopard and…
The hotel has large grounds with ponds and quite a selection of wildlife, without even going into the Park! The food is vegetarian and a lot of it is grown there. Breakfast is mixed 'western' and Indian, lunch predominantly Indian and dinner exclusively Indian, and all scrumptious. We had a beautiful cottage overlooking a pond with lots of birds, and plenty of other wildlife. The hotel is very well organised to fit with the morninng and afternoon game drives into the Park, providing wake-up tea in your room/cottage/tent, drinks and sandwiches for the morning game drives, with breakfast on your return at 10.30. We visited in January and it was cold at 7am, so they also provided blankets and hotwater bottles! The staff could not have been nicer, and the naturalists there are very…
