The room was large and comfortable. Bathroom clean and restaurant service good! Owner booked for me 2 Safari, afternoon and morning time. During my trip i had some troubles with trains scheduling and i didn't arrive in time for afternoon Safari. Thanks to the owner of Aditya Resort i didn't pay the agency for lost Safari. They are professional. Recommended.
A basic clean hotel with hot water on demand. The rooftop restaurant is again basic but all is cooked from scratch and is very tasty. The owner was not available but responded quickly to texts. The hotel is on the main road to the safari departure point, so if you cannot organise hotel pick-up, it is easy to 'hitch' a ride with one of the many safari jeeps heading that way.
I would thoroughly recommend this place for anyone on a budget who wants to visit Ranthambore NP. Our room was clean, a good size and had effective AC. We didn’t have any hot water but it wasn’t a problem for us. The biggest positive about our stay was the helpful staff - Shaan, the owner, and Dilrug, who cooked all our meals. We organised our safaris through Shaan when we arrived. You can organise safaris yourself but it is quite a complicated process for foreign visitors. The online booking system seems next to impossible to use and if you can get it to work you still have to queue for tickets. Shaan explained this to us and gave us a fair price. His English is very good. The food was great and very tasty, it takes a little while to come as it is all cooked fresh (which is reassuring) so order 45 minutes or so before you want it to eat. Great value! …
Nice place nice location..! Intelligent owner and clean rooms.. ! Food order is a little bit slow but sure fresh and tasty..! Be careful of monkeys.! Lock your room specially if you stay at the roof rooms..!
Booked a room here because it was listed in the guidebook and was one of the biggest disappointments of my trip. First I had to wait an hour for them to prepare my room, which is a mystery as nothing was cleaned. As a single traveller, I got lumped in the room behind reception, which to describe as cell-like would be to put it kindly. It was bare as - not even a bin. Nothing had been washed. The fan (which was very necessary) also shuddered and clicked really loud in a way that made you feel it would fall on you any second. No towels, no sheets and shared bathroom, which obviously hadn't been cleaned in weeks and stank of urine. No soap or toilet paper. There was no showerhead either, which I usually don't have a problem with, but there wasn't even a bucket to bath with - I had to take the bucket out of the toilet to take into the shower to ladle water from the tap. I was randomly allocated this room and don't know what I could have done to avoid it. The staff were also disinterested, with little English, bordering on rude. I was treated as a second-class guest, having not booked the safari through them. I asked if there was any way they could call a rickshaw to take me to the train station and they laughed at me, despite that being an option on my way in. To their credit, they were upfront with me about the safari prices and how much it cost to book directly (much cheaper!).…
We stayed here for 2 nights when coming to Ranthambourne for safari, as we preferred to spend our money on seeing wildlife rather than lodgings. The room was large and clean, but we had an interesting mix of bedding. The fan in the room was effective. We had no hot water. The rooms were well insulated, as we were not disturbed by the two weddings going on across the road. The owner was very helpful in organising safari drives for us. The food was very average, we got different breakfasts than ordered and it was quite greasy. It was an average stay but you get what you pay for.
We are a couple who stayed at Aditya in Feb. being there for a tiger spotting safari. Our room was very comfortable and had its own bathroom. Our meals, served on the rooftop, were all freshly cooked and tasty. Be prepared to wait while they are being cooked and know that care has been taken to cook you the most delicious dishes. This is not a fast food take-away place! Both Shaan and Del Raj are friendly hospitable people who are only to happy to help in any way possible to make your stay the best. I am planning to bring a small group back there next Jan/Feb.
Very good place to stay i you want to visit ranthambore np!the rooms are cheap but clean the food is very good and they always prepare it fresh!the staff i very friendly and always helpfull.its a reslly nice budget place!
Have just spent a very pleasant 5 days here with Shaan and the chef Del Raj. The room is the best we have had in Rajasthan clean ,airy and spacious.Plenty of hot water and a great bathroom. But the room is only a small part of what is on offer here. Shaan is a very knowledgeable and helpful guy and we spent many hours sitting talking and drinking chai. Del Raj the chef serves simple but very tasty vegetarian food on the roof top terrace.. If you need any help with your safari booking Shaan will help you or just tell you how to do it yourself. We have been coming to India for 37 years and this place reminds me of the way things used to be done. I have no problem recommending this place for value, satisfaction and friendly service. Don't miss the chance to make your stay here trouble free and relaxing.Long may they continue to supply their happy service. Thanks guys. …
We stayed one night at this hotel. Shawn (the guy who runs it) was very nice, friendly and straightforward guy who had all the information regarding the safaris and trains. We went for the budget room since we are budget travelers (400 rupees) and it was a little more basic than most places that we've stayed at in that price range in India (no hot shower, attached bathroom or window to the outdoors - a room with all 3 was priced at 900). Having said that, it is entirely possible that generally the hotels in town are more expensive than elsewhere in India. In any case it was very clean and the hotel itself was quiet. The food from the rooftop restaurant was good and cheap - though i recommend sticking to the Indian dishes.
