Bagh Serai hotel garners praise for its impeccable cleanliness and luxurious rooms, complete with private pools, though a few guests suggest improvements in WiFi and maintenance. The serene grounds and attentive service, including safari arrangements and tailored meals, are often highlighted by satisfied visitors. While the hotel's atmosphere is celebrated for its tranquility and rustic charm, its continental cuisine could use enhancement. Despite the occasional critique, the consensus among travelers is that the hotel offers significant value, pairing aesthetic surroundings with quality service.

Right from the word go, Pradeep Singh and his team were in touch with me wrt the check in timings and assisted with the location as well. The place has a rustic jungle theme which has a very authentic feel and emulated the jungle experience with an extra dose of luxury. We had booked the rustic villa with a pool and the room was a fabulous one. We also tried out the tree house which is designed and curated beautifully. The staff was very extremely courteous and helpful always trying to cater to any needs of the guest. The dinner lunch menu is curated basis preferences of the guests. We had morning safaris and the staff endured that the guests were provided with basic breakfast at 5 in the morning. They set up a beautiful bonfire through the night to help us with the cold nights. The property is spread across 7 acres with around 9 villas and two tree houses which are fully functional and extremely hygienic

Ashok ji is the head chef and is a wonderful host. Everything prepared is from their in house organic garden and the food is a total 10. The Laal maas the aloo methi is worth mentioning. Ashok ji and his team is extremely focused on ensuring the guests get the most authentic culinary experience. Would definitely recommend this place 100%

We had a very memorable and comfortable stay in Bagh Serai. The service was impecccable and can match 5 star standards.

Cottages are nice and tastefully done.

Mr. Arjun, the property manager and Mr. Ashok, the restaurant manager took amazin care of us worthy to mention.

The property can improve on in room wifi, cottages are slightly afar and you may not get wifi there. That is one area of improvement they should work on.

We did see tigers in our 2nd safari and I suggest you book 2 - 3 safaris in core zones to maximize your chances, zone is best I believe. I did like zone 4 but we didn’t spot tigers there and it was an overcast day also.

Overall great trip and the hotel people helped arrange the safaris as well.

The Hotel is perfect for Family vacations. You get so much value for the money you spend. Recently, i visited the property and found it to be a new one compared to the numerous other hotels in the area. The best part being really spacious rooms and private spaces. Every space that you explore is almost like it is exclusive to you. The beds are comfortable and the washroom are clean and well laid out. The look and feel is premium for the kind of price you pay. The most mention worthy thing is the eagerness of the staff to help and meet out any of your expectations. If you g there book the meals also they something to write another review about. The meal of cooked from fresh vegetables grown in-house. the veggies are organic and the non veg seems to be coming from their own farms only. The morning and evening menus provide for everything you can ask for but are still carefully curated with focus on quality rather than quantity. They can organise horse safaris etc for you and even provide tree rooms, something that most resorts in the area don't provide. i think then have 16 odd rooms but all rooms are well ordained, with a rustic feel, even though they provide all kinds of modern amenities.

Special: Waiter, servers, helpers don't wait around for tips. The staff is ready to help and prompt. The restaurant manager will give personal care to every guest and will try to make the next days menu taking into account the guests requirements.

Lovely place to relax at a 4.5hr drive from Delhi (Thanks to Mumbai expressway)
The best part of this place is the staff and their service. Led by the friendly n ever smiling manager Mr Sohail Khan. The chef Hansraj was ever ready to serve all that we wanted to eat. Kailash in the restaurant serves with a smiling face always.
This place is close from Ranthambore Tiger Reserve. But once you reach the place on the National Highway it's a bit of off ride to the place itself. The place itself is quiet n rustic and there is a splash pool attached to each cottage to cool yourself off. There is also a proper pool for a refreshing swim in clean n non chlorinated water.
The place is pretty exclusive as it has just 9 cottages and therefore would never seem crowded. There is a small indoor games place which has carrom board n chess set up for use.
The food is 5 star - delicious, and beautifully decorated in true artistic flare!
Chef Kailash and servers Ashok create a special dining experience. We give this facility and operator a 5+star rating in the rustic theme category.

The only thing I had a problem with was the lizards in the rooms n bathrooms...but then they are local residents there!

Stayed at his resort/hotel for three nights with my family. The place is around 15 mins drive from Sawai Madhopur and is just perfect to stay away from traffic/ noise pollution. The top highlight of this place was the food, which was just 👍 all the staff were really friendly and helpful and all our needs were taken care of. The only thing which the owners need to improve is auto generator due to the power issue in this town especially in summers with temperature at 45 degrees. I would definitely recommend this place to my family and friends.

At Bagh Serai we found something we didn’t think we’d experience in Rajasthan - serenity. The sprawling grounds are silent at night. We had separate cottages with private outdoor sitting areas. We got a tour of the grounds from the proud young manager, who showed us the organic vegetable gardens, pool, and peaceful places to relax. The restaurant staff is eager to please, and an excess of tasty food is included in the price. The staff was very attentive, and they arranged safaris and transportation to make our Ranthambore adventure easy. And, yes we saw tigers, including one stalking and then charging into a large herd of antelope.

EN: Like many other tourists, we had a tiger safari in Ranthambhore on our itinerary. Our stay at Bagh Serai turned out to be a delightful surprise.

As you turn onto the road leading to the resort, you might wonder where you’ve ended up. But don’t judge too quickly—the resort itself is fantastic. This isn’t just another international hotel chain that could be anywhere in the world; it’s a truly Indian experience.

Guests can choose between a treehouse and a cottage. The treehouses offer stunning views, while the charming cottages provide a warm and inviting atmosphere. We opted for a cottage, which came with a private outdoor "pool" and a small terrace—perfect for relaxing in peace.

There's also a simple yet refreshing pool to cool off in. However, what truly sets Bagh Serai apart is its restaurant and the warm, genuine hospitality. The food is absolutely outstanding—easily the best we had on this trip. Every dish is made with fresh, organic vegetables from the resort’s own garden, elevating the flavors even more. The staff goes out of their way to surprise and delight you, making the experience truly unforgettable.

This is a place you simply have to experience for yourself!

I was incredibly disappointed with this hotel.
Here were the positives: staff (besides the manager) was incredibly friendly and helpful, the chef was kind and made delicious food, and the rooms were beautiful.
Now the negatives: the manager was incredibly rude (wouldn’t help us get a taxi from our hotel to the safari pick up point), wouldn’t speak directly to me (would only speak to my husband), first the shower wasn’t working which they fixed after 30 minutes then the hot water went out after a minute of use, the pool that we booked the room for was drained. Also wifi was not available in the room, only the lobby. All of this for $240 USD is a rip off.

The stay was very comfortable and we were with out kid. The staff did it's best to make our stay safe and memorable. They provided whatever our kid demanded for meals. The food was remarkable. Even in the morning at 5.30 before our safari the team made sure we have tea and also provided us with few bananas for our kid to have some food during the safari.
We would surely visit bagh serai again.
