Property is average. Pool was not clean, there were insects floating in the pool. Service is very poor, kitchen staff was very rude. We stayed for 2 nights, and rooms were not cleaned on the second day. Washroom shower was not working, called reception and asked them to fix. But no action was taken. They charged ~12k for new year eve. There was no such arrangement made. They only had a local DJ playing songs, food was served cold. No staff members had mask on their face
We were a family of 10 and had requested an early check-in at 6 am. We were provided a family suite with 2 rooms which was really appreciated. The rooms were overall good and there are a few things like the washroom that could be maintained properly in one of the rooms. The food was good and we enjoyed all the meals at the restaurant itself. They have a campfire in the evening which was a welcome relief from the cold weather. Overall we had a good time
It was a nice stay at Shani niwas..very near to safari entry gate..nice cottage room with pool.side view staff was very polite and friendly location was very nice nice atmosphere in the resot Mr Dharm is very Nice fellow
Terrible service, TV was not working which took hours to fix, a simple order of hot milk took more than an hour, bathroom interior and facilities are poor, breakfast is worst!! Not much variety and not good quality and taste..only positive side is amenities and look of the property
For the first time, Tripadvisor has disappointed me. This property with a rating of 4.5 and a Tripadvisor badge of excellence is nothing but horrible in terms of cleanliness, covid protocols and customer support. I booked this one for the long weekend of 15-17 Oct at exorbitant prices. It was a total rip-off and I would advice everyone to not fall for the pretty pictures they have posted. It might have been a nice property before covid , but nothing of that remains now. It was a horrible stay, felt like they are looting the visitors. 1- Bed linen was dirty and stained when we checked in. When I asked for a change, staff member rudely remarked - ' It is clean as per his standards'. When I pointed out the stain, he ignored. Had to hassle with him to get the bedsheet changed. 2- Towers were all dirty too. They replaced but the new ones that came were no different. We deiced not to use them 3-The head shower had rust on it. 4- levers on the shower were almost jammed, one had to put real effort to move from hot to cold and vice-versa. 5- No Covid protocols were being followed whatsoever. No sanitizing stations except the reception, none of the staff members were wearing masks and I doubt they are aware of the concept of sanitizing the rooms between guests. 6- I booked a suite room and there were no charging points whatsoever in the second room. 7- We were charged Rs 150 per person as a fees to collect Safari boarding pass from Shilpgram - which wasn't included in the computer generated bill, they gave us a hand written bill for this. Clearly, in went into staff member's pocket. 8-We asked for some bread and butter along with morning tea at 5:30 am before leaving for the safari. This bread/butter was also not billed properly and we were given some random hand-written bill for this. Absolutely disgraceful. 9- We checked in at around 4:30 pm ( didn't find any lunch options on the way from Jaipur - Sawai Madhopur) We asked for some tea and snacks after checking in. They refused stating that the kitchen is closed and all they can manage is tea. They could not even arrange for basic cookies or biscuits, point blank refused the request. Which decent hotel doesn't provide snacks with tea ? 10- Breakfast time was mentioned as staring from 9am to 11am. Now, for people who do not have the morning safari at 6, they have to wait till 9 for breakfast for no reason. We had decided to start exploring the city by 9, but had to change our plan because this property doesn't do breakfast till 9. Also, they say breakfast begins at 9, but nothing is served before 9:30, making people wait 11- No covid protocols whatsoever. 12-Overall, I would say that better avoid this horrible properly. Do not fall for the pictures as they are old. 13- I had elders along, with conditions like diabetes who needed to take medicine in the morning and couldn't do it empty stomach. Literally had to beg for 2 slices of bread along with tea as the excuse that kitchen is closed comes in handy for the staff at this property for any request.…
Recently we returned from Ranthambore after staying in Shani Vilas. The stay was awesome and we did not face any problems whatsover. All our needs were well handled by them and the rooms were excellent. Would surely recommend this hotel for a worry free stay.
The cottage rooms with a nice sit out are very good. The location of the hotel is excellent very close to the booking office (Shilpgram) of the jungle safari so it was very convenient. The food quality was very good though due to this pandemic, there were limited choices.
Good property located on main forest road . Hotel staff is very cooperative and humble. Food is good and overall hospitality is nice. Overall full marks ti ambience and hospitality . Also good for small events and get-together
An honest review I am driving towards delhi right now. Last two days were fun and recreational. After reading a lot of positive and negative reviews about this resort called Shani villas I finally gave it a try. ( coz rest were too costly and this was available in cheaper price with better facilities )😅 So, for the booking , I had different rates available on internet. And here I was helped by Mr. Surendra aka the manager. Bahot mast bhai hai ye, before booking i called him up and he literally did the best he could. The property owned by Mr sunny Bairya is a beautiful resort located amidst the centre of Savai Maadhopur. A 22 rooms including cottages near poolside were nicely done with sober interiors. We took 2 rooms. Beds were very comfortable. Washroom was spacious and clean. And Tiwari ji ( Another humble guy) helped us to the best of his spirits. Outside the rooms, there were plenty of seatings available to enjoy winter sun bathing sessions. In the night, they had arranged Bonfire for all the tourists. Lekin resort me Uske alawa tourist ko kya chaiye ? Good food. Here, the resort fails and bring a lot of sadness on your face. Post checking in, we had ordered some food for room service. Unfortunately, the food was pathetic. The resort’s chef was , I guess a novice who was experimenting with tourist’s taste buds. Omelette came cold and without any salt. Toast came cold and they kept unmelted hard butter on the side. Veg sandwiches were cold and had just tomato onion cucumber sealed inside grilled toasts. Beverages were okay. In the evening, we called for Maggi. And we had to call server and manager to let them taste a spoon of dish they prepared. GOD !! They didn’t know how to make maggi. They took 40 minutes to get us Maggie with raw uncooked veggies and bland balance of spice. This hurted a lot. 😞 Dinner buffet was fortunately a relief of sigh. Veg paneer curry & dal was okay. Breads were fresh and warm. Chicken in curry wasn’t done and was very very chewy. Rest of the items were okay. 😌 For the morning breakfast, all the items were good but limited. We had poha, Idli, toasts and omelette. There should be more items, but whatever was kept, was tasty and servers made us fresh dishes we requested. 😋 Two guys, Chandramohan and Brijmohan were very soft spoken.They were quick like a fox and arranged anything we asked them swiftly. Overall , the verdict is , if you guys are okay to stay at a resort which is comfy and is managed by courteous staff, go ahead to book :) But If food is a major concern, you would curse me if I encourage you to go. ☹️ AND THE WORST THING WAS ,THEY CHARGE OVER THE MRP. THE WAFERS KEPT INSIDE WAS MARKED 10 /- Rs INR BUT THEY CHARGED DOUBLE FOR THAT. Overall , I would like to thanks mr Surendra , mr Tiwari and staff to have arranged a good stay for us. And I regret of eating food from Shani vilas and would request Mr Sunny to change your idiot chef and don’t make people’s experiences bad.…
Had a stay at shani villas in December we all came here with family. Staff was good loved there hospitality you can enjoy there pool and garden. Good hotel to come with family & friends to enjoy. 👍👍👍👍
