Visited Bagh Dera Camp in March'2021. - Strangely, I was the only one who had booked the cottage out there, and all the other cottages were vacant. Overall look and feel of the cottage was not great though. - It seems like there were only two people incharge for the whole cottage, one was Mr. Rakesh and another was cook. Rakesh was doing all the stuffs from reception handling, serving food in dining hall, serving food on call, fixing issues. - AC in the cottage was not working, in fact there was no provision for AC. Rakesh need to tear the cottage to make space for the AC to throw air. It took around 6-7 hrs to fix it after so many calls, and live without AC for that much time. - Stray dogs were all there in the campus, and my kids were afraid to go outside the cottage itself. - Inspite of all the cottages were vacant, Rakesh charged Rs.500 for 3 to 4 hrs late stay or late check out....which I believe should not be taken on courtesy basis. - Even he charged Rs.300 per person for extra lunch we had, which looks too high for a 8 yr kid. He, however, reduced it to small extend at the end after a lot of argument. Looking at all these, I had paid Rs.6200 for one night and seems too costly. I would have paid max 2500-3000 (or less) looking at all the services and prevailing conditions (including food etc).…
We visited Baghdera in January this year. It's a simple, no fuss property. What we liked was that everything was quite clean, the service was good and their location is extremely convenient for those looking to take two safaris everyday. It's a good option for those looking for a convenient, budget-friendly stay.
Visited Bhagdera Camp in January with a bunch of friends. It was very random decision but turned out to be one of the best experience we had. An amazing place for wildlife enthusiasts and nature lovers. The food served at in-house restaurants are mouth watering. A big appreciation to Mr. Amit, the owner of the property who keep the management at its best. Overall, an amazing experience. Would love to visit again in future.
I visited baghdera camps with my friends. It was definitely one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. The jeep safari was the highlight of my stay. The cottages are so clean and have all modern amenities. The food in the in-house restaurant was delicious as well and they also were nice enough to arrange a birthday cake for one of my friends. Highly recommended!
I visited Bhagdera camps with my friends in January and it was the perfect getaway we could have gone for. It’s just 400 metres from Ranthambhore national park and we thoroughly enjoyed the experiences especially the jeep safari! Special mention for Mr. Amit, the owner of the property who had taken care of everything that we had requested for. Highly recommend for nature lovers!
