We had a 2 night stay on MAP (which necessary as there are not many dining options around). The staff was most courteous and quick in responding. Especially the restaurant captain who may not have the best English or smartness but was very attentive, quick & friendly with all guests (not just foreigners). Food was great despite Aodhi not being a very big resort. Rooms are big though a few things are a little dated & need upgrade/repair. Thatched roofs in sitouts had holes at some places. Nice Heritage feel in the property all around. The Negatives- Some of the elements that are available in large resorts were missing. Sports area not maintained- broken rackets & deflated basketball. Portion sizes (when there is no buffet due to low occupancy) must be smaller to avoid waste when it's only 2 people.

The location of the hotel was very good, very nearby to Fort, Zipline activity, nearby to few local restaurants, nearby to the wildlife sanctuary.
The room was also very good, with a heater facility available for the winter season. well equipped with all necessary toiletries, Hairdryer, TV, and Fridge.
The food of the restaurant was superb, and for the winter season, they have arranged in the restaurant fireplace so that you can have your meal with a great experience.
The staff of the hotel was extremely supportive, every day before the evening, they come to you and describe to you the menu for the dinner. I have stayed for two nights, and on both days I have got a different menu for Dinner and breakfast.
The manager of the property was extremely supportive, he has suggested places to visit and things to do in the Kumbhalgarh area.

This aesthetic hotel which gives you a vibe of a royal fort is set in a quiet surrounding, very close to the Kumbhalgarh fort. Nice large rooms with attractive furniture, including comfy bed, and other facilities. The room was over-all lit with warm lights and gives a very comfy experience.
In a laid-back setting next to the forest, the Aodhi restaurant has a very roayl touch to it. A special acknowledgement to "Mr. Dhool Singh ji" who has a 30 years of industry experience and expertise when it comes to providing his service. One of the highlights of the hotel apart from its service and aesthetic rooms will be the Breakfast, you can opt for a buffet breakfast which will be served to your table. This buffet is available at a very reasonable price. If you're visiting kumbhalgarh, Aodhi hotel is your one stop destination.

Food quality needs tremendous uplift, not up to the mark with an HRH chain tag linked to the property. Room offered by the front-office manager Dinesh was not the same as booked through booking.com. He explained the site has used incorrect photographs on the hotel's room page. Overall, the staff seems untrained and aren't aware on guest courtesy expected at 3-4-5 star properties. Not much to do @ and around the property with limited recreational areas.

We stayed here for one night while on a tour of Rajasthan, in order to visit the fort. The hotel is in an ideal location for this. The property is very attractive, the rooms are large, clean and well furnished. The staff were lovely, and the food was great. Huge wood fire in the dining room at night was very welcome. Would thoroughly recommend providing you can manage steps. It was really worth 6 stars!

It’s a great property to stay in case you are planning to visit Kumbhalgarh. The hotel is around a kilometre from the fort and is an old property but very well maintained. We reached after 2 hour drive from Udaipur and were greeted by Dineshji and his team who ensured that we had two rooms at the first level as we had senior citizens with us. The rooms were nice and spacious and the staff was always eager to help. The food at the restaurant was excellent and has plenty of options. The best part was that it was cooked after you ordered. So, you need to wait for 15 minutes or so till it is prepared. Dhool Singh and his team ensured that you are properly taken care of and are there ti assist you all the time. We had a great time at the hotel!

I am again at this lovely place . I don’t remember how many times I have come here. It was 18 yrs back in 2002 when I started coming. It has become my second home. I visit at least twice a year. It is extremely beautiful place well planned architecturally . The full Resort has been cut out on a mountain slope . Over the years the trees have grown big & gives a feeling as if u r living in a jungle . The surroundings are tranquil & peaceful Only sound is chirping of birds or screeching of monkeys . Excellent cleanliness & hygiene . Very polite & courteous staff . Good food. The General Manager Mr. Ummed Singhji is a very simple & humble person , always smiling & helpful . He is one the main reasons which is keeping this property number one in the area inspite of newer ones coming up . Go to this place to just lie down & soak yourself in the nature .

This Hotel is a very nice Hotel right in the Hills near to the Kumbalgarh Fort and Wildlife Sanctuary (you must visit this if you go to Rajastan!). The room was spacious and cozy and it was very peaceful and quiet (quiet nights are rare in India 😉). The hot water was working without any Problems, and the Wifi was strong. The staff was absolutely fantastic, the waiters at the restaurant where very friendly. Also the breakfast was very good (awesome chocolate pancakes!) Everybody took care of us very well. I highly recommend to stay there, its a very unique experience that you will enjoy for sure!

Stayed in Aodhi after 20 years and its been a charm. While numerous hotels have come up in Kumbhalgarh over the years, the charm and delight of Aodhi is unmatchable. Spacious rooms at different floors with private sit outs. Extra blankets were provided on request. The food at restaurant is reasonably priced and delicious. Some of the rooms need maintenance, so check the rooms beforehand. Room number 5, was excellent.
Thank you to Mr. Ummed Singhji and his team to left no stone unturned to make our stay comfortable and memorable. Special thanks to Mr. Dhool Singh the restaurant manager, exceeds expectations in serving you food and drinks. Thank you ‘The Aodhi’.

It will be better if you hire a Taxi from Udaipur itself and reach the hotel in it . The same Taxi will take u to the Fort and u can go back to Udaipur in the same . Midway u can detour a bit and go to Ranakpur/ Nathdwara. Both equally accessible but in opposite directions. You can add only one of these looking at the time constraint.
