Very nice hotel to stay in Jodhpur, with a very helpful owner. Very correct rooftop restaurant. Situation is fine too. Only thing is the room I was in was quite noisy, for the traffic outside.
Great little hotel near the railway station. The owner and his son are very friendly and helpful and are keen to ensure your stay is a comfortable and enjoyable one.Very reasonably priced and a lovely rooftop restaurant serving tasty food.
I think you can hardly find a better place to stay with this price...The rooms are very nice and well-maintained. The staff is very kind and ready to all your needs. The resturant of the top is fine even if the service is slow.
Govind is an excellent choice in budget accommodations. Jaggi, the owner, is a valuable source of information (offering tours and helpful information to make the most of your stay - we had a "dodgy" travel agent in Delhi and wished we had Jaggi instead) and the staff very helpful. We stayed in a spacious room (#10, I think, A/C, fan, tv, slept 3) for 3 nights and booked a flight through him. Govind Hotel was quiet and close to the train station. You can have a pick-up as well. My girlfriend and I stayed at Hotel Govind for 3 nights in November 2007. It cost us 400-450Rs inc tax (sorry, can't remember exact price) for a double room per night. The room was reasonably clean, bathroom was fairly run down but functional, hot water was present when we needed it 2 out of the 3 nights. We found that if you didn't need a shower at "peak" times, hot water supply was ok. Probably the most useful thing about this place is the owner is very helpful. He seems to give honest answers to your questions and makes an effort to help you with any queries you may have. A nice respite from the frequent lies and scams that people will try to pull over you in India =P The hotel is a 3 minute walk from the train station so they can send someone down to show you the…
