I stayed in this hotel with my partner for a few nights whilst in Jodpur. It is in close proximity to the train station and only about a 15 minute walk to the clock tower (main area). When we arrived we were offered a free room upgrade to a deluxe room which was very nice! The staff seemed friendly and eager to help. We are at the restaurant above for breakfast and dinner, food was good. However the only disappointment was that we bought bus tickets through the hotel to jaisalmer, and they told us the wrong time of the bus departure. When we arrived at the station the bus had already left but luckily the bus company drove us in a tuk tuk to catch up with the bus!

Dear Guest, thanks for the review. The bus departs at 7 am, which is usually late, maybe it was on time that day, but my friend as i told you that the bus will never leave without you so they took you to the main bus station. I have been dealing with this bus company since the last more then 10 years and there has never been a complaint. Well i am sorry about this but thank GOD you made it. I was extremely satisfied with my stay at the Govind Hotel! I stayed in the male dorms. After coming in by train from Delhi I was having a difficult time trusting locals since all my experiences in the capital were negative and most locals I met were trying to overcharge me for something or pull me in to a scam. At the Govind Hotel, Jaggi and his family were extremely helpful and kind and honest. They made sure I was looked after and that I had everything I needed during my stay. This family-run business is located very close to the train station which makes it ideal if you're coming in very late or very early to the railway station. The hotel is located close to the Jodhpur Railway Station around 400m. It is in the 2nd floor and the entrence is adjecent to Vijaya Bank ATM.Mr. Jaggi is a very friendly person .We had booked a Super Deluxe AC Room.The room was big,clean with all amenities and was beautifully decorated.Food was also good and served hot.We had lunch and breakfast at there roof top restaurant.They can take care of your travel and can arrange anything from auto to taxi.All sightseeing places r also near by. I totally recommend staying in Govind Hotel.

Hotel is well located, ambient and clean. I have found the service and employees to be very helpful and kind. Well worth it if you're on a budget. It actually was very nice for the money paid. This hotel is right across from railway station and not quite located in the old city. The old city is about a 5-10 minute rickshaw ride away or 20 minute walk. The rooftop cafe is very nice and has a decent fort view.

Stayed 1 night here. Room was basic yet comfortable with all facilities. Staff was courteous. Rooftop restaurant was amazing with good city views, though fort was partially hidden by a hoarding - not hotel's fault. Great food.

The hotel is located pretty close to the Jodhpur Railway Station. It is in the 2nd Floor..The first floor is Vijaya Bank....Mr. Jaggi and his son, Mr Sohail were good....We had booked a Super Deluxe AC Room...The room was big with all amenities, except the toilet. The toilet was clean but a bit dark and small..only lighted by a CFL...And in the morning when the water heater used to be on, both the taps used to supply only hot water, this would continue for 20 minutes. Informed hotel for two days which we stayed. Otherwise, it was Ok. Food was also good and served hot. Nice stay. An auto is also available from this hotel from where we had a full day tour of Jodhpur City

Dear Mr Jaggi! As usual you were wonderful. The entire Hotel felt like home. Our every small detail was taken care of with full attention. I was really impressed with Mr Sohel. He deserves all the credit for the superb menu selection and he remembered all the items we had for meals taking care and insisting on trying new dishes. About Mr Roop Singh, Bahadur Singh and all others I offer my three cheers and salute. All of you made my trip very memorable. I visited after a gap of twenty years but felt happy that I did. I totally recommend staying in Govind Hostel. It is super clean, nice rooms, good atmosphere, and the staff is amazing! It is close to the train and bus station and it has a restaurant with tasty food. The owners are really friendly with the customer (they took us to the train station the last day!) Govind hotel is located 2 minutes from the train station. The hotel itself has clean and comfortable rooms. Some reviews mention construction work keeping them awake but this has now finished and we found the hotel to be quiet.
