This was our fourth stay at Govind Hotel.I have already given my 3 earlier review in detail regarding this hotel.We always stay in this hotel as it is best hotel near jodhpur railway station. We have booked standard room online from makemytrip .I spoke to hotel owner Mr.Jaggi sir and he has allowed us for 3 hour early checkin at 7 am morning.But our train was cancelled and we reached hotel by evening by other train.The city was hot but room was cool.We have got neat & clean room with comfortable bed.Room services was very prompt.After check out ,Mr.Jaggi sir has allowed us to keep our luggage till evening at hotel free of cost.In evening he has given us special room for fresh up and complimentary tea to both of us which was not included in our room tariff. We had a wonderful stay at Govind Hotel. The room we had was huge and very clean. The owner is a nice guy and very helpful and the food at the restaurant is excellent. All for a very reasonable price and close to all that Jodhpur has to offer. You can park across the road if you have a car. Highly recommend.

I book 2 dorm beds via Hotels.com for just one night stay. The hotel is just cross the street of the ticket reservation office; we found out later after we were trying to buy 2 train tickets for New Delhi. After unloaded our bags at the dorm rooms, we realized that we could not get WI-FI signals(dorms are in the lower level). I need the service so I decided to upgrade my dorm to a standard room on the main floor which is close to the WI-FI router. We paid extra 350 for a small but a clean room. This hotel is family run and they are friendly. We also tried some Indian dishes at their rooftop restaurant. The food is okay for me, I really preferred non-veg dishes. One more reminder: If you try to book the train ticket but no seats available you can then ask for "TATKAL" it is an…

Dear Jerry, since we have 8 beds in the dorm there was a problem when the guests were using the wi-fi. So to make it easy for the guests we discontinued in the dorm but always there is wi-fi just above the dorm in the common passage and also in the restaurant. Yes, Jerry, ours is a veg restaurant but we have a lot of variety on our menu. Thanks for the information about the tatkal and the review, you were great father and son, jaggi.

Just walking distance from the railway station it was at first hard to find, you have to go up some steps as the hotel is above shops and a bank on Station Road. This family run establishment turned out to be a gem. The owner was very helpful and initially was a bit worried at the room we had booked as this was a standard room, he offered to show us another room the following day which he felt would be more suitable.The standard room was ok for 1 person due to the size but the alternative room was much roomier, at not much more. The rooms were very clean and the owner was really helpful when we were arranging onward transport, nothing was too much trouble. His son was the main chef in the restaurant and even gave me an impromptu cooking lesson on the art of Indian cooking, fab.

Lovely, colorful and well manage hotel in Jodhpur. Conveniently located near train station and not far from the market/blue city. Spotless clean and comfortable room (with hot water and a tv!). The owner Jaggy is a fantastic host. They also have a great rooftop restaurant. Strongly recommended.

It'a a nice place to stay. It's near to Jodhpur's main railway station (there are few more hotels nearby). The hotel is just in front of Janta Restaurent (which is a famous food chain in Jodhpur). It has rooms on 1st and second floor of the building (which has no lift). I stayed in room number 9 which I guess is a semi delux room (though the owner says it's a delux room). The room, bathroom, linen were clean. It had LCD TV, intercom, double bed, a chair, split AC, tubelight and a small chandelier. The owner and staff were gentle and cooprative. It has a nice open rooftop restaurent which provides decent food. The location is kinda center of the city so every tourist spot is nearby. Thank you for the review. The semi deluxe room is on the 3rd floor of the building near the restaurant which is smaller to the deluxe room. Yes, we are sorry about the hot water since we have a solar system, so we have fixed timings for the hot water, but start if the guests request. As a budget hotel, on a par with other average budget hotels with good service from management let down by standards of cleanliness and patchy wifi. However the reason why this scores higher than average is because of the price...far cheaper than other comparable hotels. Close to the station (could say too close as you can hear the train horns all through the night) and has a rooftop cafe/restaurant.

I stayed 3 days here and have to say it was the best I can get at the price. Railway station is quite nearby which is a big plus. Staff are friendly. Food was little bit expensive but then again food is quite expensive throughout Rajasthan so can't really complain anything.

I didn't stay at the hotel overnight, but about two weeks ago I ate breakfast and dinner at the rooftop cafe and left my bag at the hotel while I explored the fort. The food was good at a reasonable price, and no one pressured me to hurry even though I was on my laptop for a few hours and catching up on some work. The owner, whom I had a pleasant talk with, is very helpful and went out of his way to assist me (letting me keep my bag there, getting me a bus ticket for the same night, etc.). He told me he would also be adding Western dishes to the menu, which is a plus. I would come back here if I were in Jodhpur. I wish you luck, Jaggi! Best, Yusuf
