1. Location is good, very near to Rail Station.
2. The owner is humble and honest person.
3. Room condition was more or less good but not luxurious. Lift is not available in the hotel. Cleanliness was average.
4. Under Rs 2000/-, you will get AC, Hot Water & Attached Toilet. Complete value for money.
5. Food is good and Rooftop restaurant is excellent.
6. Travel desk was also good.
7. Safe & secured place.
Overall, good option for budget travellers .

Thank you Sir for giving us 5 star. We as always respect our guest and help them when ever they need us. A small clarification to you my friend, when you left for the airport you mentioned to my driver that we had charged you more, rs 400/. The normal charges for a drop and pick up from the airport is rs 500/. Prepaid charges from the airport to my hotel is also rs 500/. Since you had stayed with us i charged you rs 100/ less. Thanks for the beautiful write up, jaggi. Hope you friend get 's well soon.

Dear Ranjan, i am very sorry to tell you that we are about more then 30 hotels near the station road but not a single hotel has a parking. We are any way fortunate that we have a railway parking just opposite our hotel which none hotel has, but due to some repairs of the parking this has been closed since the last 3 months. I thank you for appreciating my food and the rooms. Yes, being near the railway station a bit crowded but then every thing around like station a walking distance, main GPO, cheap hotels and expensive hotels to eat. Marketing places a walking distance. I am sorry that you found my food a bit expensive, then you have not visited good hotels around. Just opposite my hotel is a sweet shop selling Dosa's for rs 100/. Thanks for writing me a good review, jaggi.

Stayed here for 5 nights during HOLI. Looked at other places nearby & this is byfar the best option in the price range. Most staff are friendly & helpful, some are a bit creepy. One time a cleaner locked me out on the balcony, seemingly on purpose :( the owners have put in effort to decorate the hotel in a lovely traditional manner. It is quite clean. Great food served on the rooftop restaurant, ask Vinod, the chef, for his specialities! Beer is served cold :D owner is helpful organising rickshaws etc & happy to give assistance. I recommend this hotel.

Thanks for the beautiful write up and every thing you mentioned about the hotel. It is been our habit to close the balcony doors since a long time, reason being small children stay with us sometimes, people dry clothes, we keep our cleaning items there. I know you were smoking quite often there, that is also one of the reasons we don't keep the door open since we have shops down our hotel and any cigarette falls down they come up and complaint. As you must have noticed even i locked the door once when you were out in the balcony, nobody does this on purpose, it's our habit for safety reasons. Thanks for appreciating my goodness, you are always welcome with open arms, jaggi.

We arrived by train at 6.30am and this place was our first stop for breakfast on the rooftop cafe AKA Jaggys cafe.
Great breakfast, great price and great morning view, although my cappuccino came out extremely strong.
We also had lunch later which was nice however the fruit salad did lack variety.
We only had a day in jodhpur but after a long train journey with little sleep we negotiated a short stay price to get some rest.
500r for 3 hours.
We were given the golden hut room on the rooftop, it was very comfortable.

Sheets were clean, room wasn't bad but it didn't feel great to be a solo woman traveller arriving late at night (felt a bit seedy). Ok if you have an early train to catch but otherwise it's much nicer to stay nearer the fort.

Dear Guest, what do you mean by seedy. There have been so many solo women travellers who have stayed with us with all the comfort and safety. I really don't know how you came to the hotel. If you were coming by train and if you would have mailed us about your arrival, we would have offered a free walking pick up from the station. I fully agree with you that being a female solo traveller, you were a bit scared. But please let me make this clear to my tripadvisor reader's, this is a family run place as mentioned on our website. Thanks for mentioning that our bed sheets were clean and the room was not bad. Thanks also for mentioning that it is good if you have an early train to catch. Thanks for the write up, jaggi.

We stayed for a couple of nights at Govind hotel and would happily have stayed longer. When we arrived we found we had been upgraded which was a nice surprise. Our room was very large and spotlessly clean, which is the most important thing for me. The hotel comes at budget prices but didn't feel budget. The hot shower was lovely, and there is wifi on the rooftop restaurant and in the lobby area. We ate dinner and breakfast in the rooftop restaurant and the food was very good. Jaggi also has a coffee shop and great coffee machine on the roof. Jaggi and his son were so helpful - particularly when we got our train tickets muddled up, and he also helped organise a tuk tuk driver to take us to see the main sights for a half day at Rs600. The hotel is opposite the train station but we didn't hear any noise and the location was perfect for us - not far from the sights and we could nip over and buy train tickets, and perfect for our 5am train! One night it was noisy, but there was a wedding nearby, so what can you do! If you want clean bedrooms, and a helpful, friendly host then this hotel is for you.

Excellent hotel for a short stay in Jodhpur. The benovelont owner Mr Jaggi was really helpful and even extended our check-out time. They have a good rooftop restaurant with an excellent view and scrumptitious food. The talkactive Mr. Roopo is definetly one of the best employees you see in this area (Goodluck for your business venture). The brighlty colored rooms are basic and small, But that's okay for a budjet hotel. If you prefer a budjet hotel with affable people, then this is it.
