Where to start with the poor quality of this hotel? - Wifi was terrible - the only place you could connect was in the reception. No wifi in the rooms or communal areas (eg terrace) - Facilities are old and outdated. Gym not open on Sunday. Door locked on Monday afternoon so we had to go outside and access from another place. Facilities are run by a third party and are very old. - Terrance is only open 7pm onwards and I think not part of the hotel - it is linked to a club/ bar area which blares music. Only access to the terrace is via one TINY elevator which is very claustrophobic. - No towels or seating area around the pool - Hotel is a scam - only place in India where my VISA card has not been accepted so we had to pay cash at check out - Staff in restaurant could not speak English so basic requests like “is the water from a bottle” could not be understood. - Eggs served were hard when asked for soft to the chef. Toaster was broken and burned toast. Butter packets had been frozen and separated. General options for continental breakfast for foreign tourists was unacceptable. Maybe this hotel could pass for local domestic tourists but this is not a 4* hotel for a English guest. Very disappointing.…
we had great stay in fern. restaurant manager mr Sahid and chef kalu sibgh is very very good. love to comr again and again. my son repeatwd had noodles which were tasty. staff are very polite and courteous.
Services were good, cleaning was very good.. Mr Anand and ms Deepti were food at their service. Room location was really good..like the biew and all And also the roof top pool was very good in vibes and all.
Book this hotel at your own peril. It's serviced by staff that are crooks and liars. I had a family emergency (an uncle passed away) so I had to suddenly cancel this booking and other subsequent bookings made by me further down the line as well. I spoke to the Front Desk and then was directed to the Duty Manager to whom I immediately explained the situation. Understand this was still at least a day in advance of my stay so it was not a last moment issue for them, and they were not holding any room specifically for me on the day in question. He pretended to be sympathetic and promised to issue the full refund. He also asked me to speak to the booking website about the same. I did that and even the Booking company promised to help by contacting the hotel again on my behalf after confirming all the details. Fern still did not refund anything though I promptly received refunds from all the other hotel chains. If this is the kind of senior staff this chain employs, then I would rather take my business elsewhere in future. There was no need to lie, he could have simply told me sorry sir it's not in my hands to issue the refund at this stage or directed me to the appropriate person for it and I would have understood, leaving it at that as I had no time to waste for a couple of thousand during that situation. Or they could have charged me 50% if there was a rush season (which I doubt) or issued me a voucher instead of a refund for a stay later. It's not about the money but such despicable behavior from a big chain leaves a sour bitter taste in the mouth. It's not rocket science and you are in the hospitality business for your customers, the death of a relative is unsettling for everyone. Instead, you blatantly lie and smooth talk pretending to be sympathetic, then make me undergo additional stress during that emergency by calling up here and there. Why waste my time with all this farce and rigmarole, I could have simply let go the couple of thousand for the room had I politely been told so in the first place. I will never use Fern Group of Hotels ever again.…
If you’re looking for nightlife then THIS is the place for you if however you’re looking for a peaceful nights rest then you may need to look elsewhere. Boasting a stellar 2 club line up, one on the second floor and one on the roof you are sure to not get a peaceful moment till late into the night (Friday- Sunday.) Even two floors away we could feel the bass from the speakers in our room meaning that even with ear plugs the rhythm will find you. The gym facilities are linked to an external gym that has public as well as hotel guest access and has everything you would need to complete a full workout. The breakfast was a little disappointing with a small variety of options to choose from.
Very nice place we had panchmewa dal chapati and jeera rice it’s was yummy and tastes like homely cooked food. Service is fast and polite staff. Thank you chef mukesh for such an amazing dinner.😍🙏🏻
Fern Residency (Jodhpur) is really one of the best properties in their services and hospitality. Well maintained property and amenities are really super. I convey my thanks to Mr Pushpendra Singh (Front Desk manager) and Mr Vishal (Desk manager) and all their colleagues and team. A special thanks to Ms Reshma Priyanka madam for helping in acute requirement regarding room booking.
Very very pathetic and untrained staff specially front office manager Mr.Pushpendra.nd his team.They all are very unprofessional and untrained they don’t know how speak front of the guest. as well as food was untested nd cold…they didn’t listen clearly. no one can bother to great the guest. i never ever recommend to anyone for this hotel…
Whenever comes to jodhpur never use Fern there are so many hotel in the same amount. Reason for this are 1. No Ethics in hotel manager and staff 2. Respond is useless 3. You will fee like you are in a road side hotel at entrance 4. Never Expect early check-in if you already had a previous day booking also(They have their own rule book) 5. The more important is covid protocol and hygiene. Nothing is their. If you need more reason then you can visit the fern Ratna jodhpur. Thanks
The rooms are very average ,the food quality, taste and presentation was of highest ratings The Chef Mr Mukesh was one of the best host we had come across. The quality , taste was just awesome.. hats off to Mukesh ji and his team. God Bless Him!!
