Mandore Guest House is an amazing place. As soon as you enter the gate you feel the cool calm atmosphere which is a welcome relief after the bustle of Jodhpur City. Only 15 minutes away by tuktuk it is another world. Nearby are the famous Mandore Gardens which are well worth a visit. It is a family run establishment and that is apparent in the welcome and the ambiance. The garden is beautiful, full of trees and flowering shrubs, with several different seating areas. The rooms are very comfortable with hair dryer and toiletries supplied. The swimming pool area is welcoming with sunbeds. The restaurant serves excellent vegetarian food which you can have either inside or at one of the outdoor tables, and the staff are helpful and efficient. I have stayed in several hotels but although this is listed as a guest house, it is the best accomodation I have found. I simply cannot recommend it highly enough.

We stayed in Mandore Guest House in December 2019 and it was a very good experience.
The ambiance of the place is very different with a garden in the center surrounded by the rooms. This make for a very pleasant ambiance which is also very enjoyable and very different (in a good way) from other hotels and resorts.
There is also a dedicate parking lot for cars. The place is a bit outside of the city but well connected by local transport (autos).
The food at the restaurant is also quite good, though the food is veg only.
The room was quite basic with the bare minimum of things. No storage for clothes. That is definitely an area of improvement.
The only incident that left a bad taste in the mouth is as follows: This place is visited by a lot of foreigners from various countries. Once, we were having breakfast at the restaurant; there were 2 Indian families (including us) and 2 foreign families. The person at the reception (later came to know that he was a close relative of the owner) came inside the restaurant and greeted the foreign families but did not have the courtesy to speak a word to the Indian families. I was really dumbstruck and quite taken aback by such a behavior. But it done seem that India visitors are not of much importance to this property.
Other than the above incident, our stay was quite good and it was a nice experience.

I visited Mandore Guest House in January 2020 and returned this February, three years later. It was like returning home. The beautiful gardens, the calm sanctuary after the hectic Indian street life, a balm to the soul. My room was delightful, spacious, clean and comfortable with lovely bedding. The seating area outside gave me the opportunity to chat to other guests while enjoying a cold drink. Since my previous visit the dining area has been renewed and there are also tables outside. The menu has also been upgraded to cater for various cuisines. Excellent food, promptly served and inexpensive. The staff were friendly and attentive. I would highly recommend anyone visiting Jodhpur to stay here for comfort, service and value for money. I will definitely return.

During this difficult and unprecedented time of pandemic, we had a wonderful experience at Mandore guest house.Keeping in mind COVID menace the staff took all essential precautions for the utmost safety of the guests.The food was excellent,crystal clear water in swimming pool and lush green ambiance added the beauty of the property. Very relaxing experience and hope to visit again in near future.

Travelled to Rajasthan for a family trip (self, wife,son) and stayed at Mandore Guest House for 2 nights. It is a very pleasant place, thoughtfully planned and tastefully done up. You can see brilliant personal touches everywhere. In fact one does't feel like going out, there is so much to see and do. The owners take personal care, and their cook, Meghraj is an expert. Though essentially vegetarian resort, we never misses non-veg fare.

Spread over an acre of land, the Mandore Guest house is a beautiful property with garden facing rooms and an incredible pool. The property owner and the family personally take care of the house and that’s why it is so well maintained with a lush green garden. We stayed in two rooms. These are little cottages with spacious rooms. My kids enjoyed the pool so much. One of the few places where the pool is still operational. The family as well as the care takers are very people and took good care of us. Would recommend this place to all and will certainly stay here on my next visit too !

Went there with my friends for a post-covid vacation. The property is beautifully maintained and provides a homely experience amidst nature. They have fresh set of sheets and towels that they open in front of you and are taking all COVID safety precautions. Even the food was excellent and well prepared as per personalised taste. Had the most relaxing vacation with super friendly staff and management. Would come back again for a rejuvenating experience for sure!

The hotel is filled with greenery and beautiful flowers of all kinds. The pool is well maintained, and the fountain provides an auditory texture to the beautifully kept grounds.The staff are wonderful,polite, and accommodating without being intrusive. You must try a swing; here are a few on the property,and a beautiful end to a day of sightseeing.

This is an amazing property, well designed and managed, hospitality is just too good, worth visit place!! Food is delicious. Swimming pool is so clean. On a very short note, they arranged for a very well organised breakfast, lunch and drinks, a must must visit when your friends and family is here!

Rating this place 1 as there cannot be a lesser rating. Easily the worst of the places we stayed at during our Rajasthan holiday in Dec '23. The person at reception was so cold - no welcome, unlike every other hotel we had stayed at. The room was horrible - paint peeling off, electricals from centuries before and unclean bathrooms. Food was below average and breakfast spread was very limited.

You will have to check with the owner & Request Them. Although the resort kept a couple of dogs themselves for the security of the property., shouldn't be a problem if you request them
I Googled it and the Expedia website states 15 rooms. There seemed to be more when I stayed there but either way, you should have no problem if you book in advance.
"Approach road is narrow (single lane), but parking is not an issue (we traveled in xuv 700)
We dint venture out of property, since there were few stray dogs in the lane"
There are more places to choose from in the Jodhpur area.
