unique grandeur with unmatched hospitality. the airport pickup, check in, rooms, food, spa, everything was spot on. only pool was missed due to covid restrictions. the beauty of the garden and Baradari is a sight to behold against the setting sun.
A true royal experience.. they upgraded us to the second highest category and the suite was just awesome.. too lavish.. No doubt the palace has been maintained very well .. Each corner is magnificent Their food quality lacked somehow.. the only thing we felt they need to improve upon Rest is Royal!!!
Excellent property with warm hospitable and attentive staff personnel. Indulgence & Relaxation in the calm tranquil palace is to be experienced. The property is well maintained and upkeep of it's glory of the era bygone can felt.
Please avoid, they were operating to only cover their fixed costs since no tourists are visiting. It looked like these people didn’t want to be there and serve the guests. We saw atleast 2 other guests complaining about the service and quality of their stay so we’re sure it wasn’t something that was only happening to us. Don’t expect this from the Taj. If given a choice would rather visit Taj Lake Palace Udaipur, Falaknuma at Hyderabad or Taj Mahal Palace Mumbai. Hands down my worst experience at Taj.
the hotel has a feel that no other property can match with its opulent and ornate decor, years and decades of history built into it and you get to experience the royal living lifestyle. palace rooms are a bit disappointing but the historical suites are superb. due to the pandemic situation the service was a bit off but it was compensated by the warmth and eagerness of the staff to serve you anything on the menu even if its not on the buffet on house.
