We just spent one night here and feel just like heaven. We had a great private night on the rooftop. The owner and his family are very friendly. The room is very comfortable and nice. It located in the heart of the blue city which allows us to walk around easily.

We just checked out of this wonderful place. If you want to smell, taste, feel and live through real flavors of jodhpur then do stay at this place. It's stayed right in the famously blue roofed 'basti' that the mehrangarh fort overlooks. I'm trying and adding a few photos to give an idea. We stayed at ganesha room and it was extremely tastefully decorated just like the rest of the property. The view was nice, room was professionally clean and spacious. Staff was excellent and so were the owners facing us. Don't forget to visit their rooftop restaurant at night. The view of the fort is unhindered and brilliant.

Tucked away behind a busy bazaar road, this place was absolutely lovely to stay in. Great sized room with ensuite, rooftop restaurant is a highlight! We had an Indian cooking lesson for lunchtime which was great, I would highly recommend it! I would definitely recommend this place to stay in Jodhpur.

We had a wonderful stay at Juna Mahal. We were greeted by Ganesh who helped us carry our bags to our room (Ganesha Room) on the top floor of the haveli. We were delighted to find that it was decorated in a “medieval” Indian sort of way, but still very modern. You get lots of natural light in this room! Ganesh was a great host while we were there! The roof top view from this property is unbelievable. We didn’t want to leave because of it! It’s so incredibly picturesque and there are 360 views of all of Jodhpur. If you’re up early enough, the kids at the school across the way might catch a glimpse of you and wave hi! Bring ear plugs!!! There are probably around 5 mosques that do morning prayer at 5-6am nearby. We didn’t know this until after our first night, but slept with

First we want to thank from our heart and to say that Joshi and his wife have been very friendly and that we had fantastic time during . Joshi has invited us to visit and to have a dinner before opening in his new "Gem" , the Raj Mandir , wich is a very beautiful haveli with fantastic view from the rooftop to Mehrangarth Fort . In Juna Mahal we had a large and brightful room called" Lord Ganesh" ,with antiques furnitures and photos ,with a balcony and access to a terrasse . A young man called Ganesh really took care of us very kindly , and Dilip cooked very well and even proposed us to bring a table and the food in the room at night for dinner .Joshi organised for us a visit to the Bishnois villages , and also our trip by car to Pushkar . Overall the kindness of all the

Myself and my partner stayed here for 2 nights and I must say it was one of the highlights of our trip around rajasthan. The rooms were like something out of an alladin film with colourful rooms and massive stone pillars. The rooftop view was simply breathtaking! An incredible view of the blue city and fort. Tasty food and the staff were so helpful. 100‰ recommend for an authentic jodhpur experience.

Juna Mahal was a very nice hotel in Jodhpur. Very well located to visit Jodhpur old city while being isolated from noise, the room was nicely decorated and the service very very nice with us. Finally, the roof top restaurant offers a marvellous view which makes you fall in love with the Blue City. We definitively recommend this place to enjoy Jodhpur.

Juna Mahal is a small boutique homestay in a quiet neighbourhood. It is located in a house once owned by priests and more then 350 years old. The room we had was nicely decorated and cosy. It is definitly worth to have tasteful dinner at the guesthouse itself. The breakfast on the other hand is not so special. The services offered are fine, but often requests needed to be followed up by ourselfs, as things can be forgotten sometimes. Last but not least we liked the location of the homestay. It is near all the main attractions and from the rooftof we had a nive view on the fort. In general, we had a nice stay.

Definitely the best place we have stayed so far in terms of facilities - very clean, excellent rooms, comfy beds. Staff were very helpful and friendly and go above and beyond to accomodate you. It's a bit of a walk to the centre (10-15mins) which is a bit difficult in low season with the heat. The one time we ate at the restaurant for breakfast the food was inedible - im not sure if this was just a once off however I wouldn't eat there again - would definitely stay there when I return though!

Everyone at Juna Mahal looked after us so well during our stay here. They were attentive and kind, going to great lengths to make sure we had an amazing time in Jodhpur. The property itself is in a great location, with a fantastic view of the fort and within walking distance of Jodhpur's main attractions. The rooftop restaurant is a great place for an evening meal and to meet fellow travellers! Thank you, Juna Mahal!
