The room advertised is exactly as per photo, full of charisma and unique since this is a century-aged building. The 2 Nepalese staff was very attentive and concern about our stay and feelings as opposed to the host family which has no interaction at all. The homestay was located on a side road of the bazaar, which is very near to bazaar yet it is located in the tranquil neighborhood. It is not accessible by car due to the narrow lanes of the old town and only by tuk-tuk or walking. Do enjoy the sunrise at their rooftop early morning while enjoying the view overlooking at Mehrangarh Fort. The stay at the homestay and meal served at rooftop restaurant was value for money. If you do not mind to pay extra, do choose the king suite. It would be better if the host family has a

This little hotel/homestay has 5 rooms for guests. Ours was quite spacious and very well decorated in traditional Indian style: I particularly loved the wood doors closing with a bolt and padlock and the wood window shuts! Sooooo cute!! The owners are very friendly and so is the personnel. Cleaning standards were good, too. Food is served on the roof top terrace with a great view over the blue city. The food was nice, too. The location is very central, just 10 minutes' walk from the city centre (example the clock tower). The hotel is located in a side road of a bazaar, which makes it really quiet while still being very near bazaar. At first, when we arrived, we were totally unsure about staying so close to a bazaar: we feared it would be noisy and just not right for us .

Loved staying here, the room was comfortable and the food was fantastic. The food was freshly cooked and very tasty which was served on the rooftop terrace. The only downside to this place is that there is no housekeeping

We’re a couple on our honeymoon in India, we’ve stayed at different hotels in this price range in Jaipur and Udaipur before coming to Juna Mahal in Johdpur. This Haveli is beautiful, the location is deep into the blue city which makes for nice adventures and encounters around it, and very close to the sites in Jodhpur. The rooms are small but beautifully arranged. We stayed in the top one right below the roof. There are serious downsides however: 1. Because our room is on the kitchen floor we had an ant invasion (with thousands of them) and the house attendant did not seem to know what to do about it so proceeded to spray our room profusely... 2. You have to ask for hot water at least 30 minutes ahead of your shower. There is no room cleaning and you need to ask to replenish

The place is lovely and well decorated, the food is great on their lovely rooftop, and the Nepalese caretaker is accommodating and will look after you like his own family. It's well worth the stay if only for his wonderful company and cooking. 5 stars easily

We had an amazing stay at Juna Mahal. The location was perfect for exploring the blue city, and the fort was a 20 minute walk away. Dillip did a wonderful job making sure our stay was as comfortable as possible, and is a great cook too! Great recommendation for anyone wanting to stay close to the attractions in a clean and comfortable setting.

Had such a good stay at Juna Mahal! It’s located in the old city, about 15 min walking to the clock tower. Dunlib was such a nice guy, doing all its efforts to give you the best experience. Room (king suit) is big, clean and nice decorated. Food and drinks (at the rooftop with nice view) are good too and not expensive. Thanks for having us!!

Our family of 4 spent 3 nights in this family run Havelli. Getting there by taxi was a challenge as cars can’t access the winding alleyways of the old city so we had to transfer to two tuk tuks. But once there, the location was great, close to good local eateries & the markets close to the Clocktower were easy walking distance. Our two rooms were small but clean & most importantly had hot water! There was a lovely view from the rooftop restaurant over the city & the fort at a distance.

We had a pleasant stay in this place. The location is quite poor because it is located in small alley which only can be reach with rickshaw (tuktuk), but it’s near clock tower (sardar market). If you like to stroll around in the small alley and observe the locals life and their small shops, then location won’t be a problem. But during our check out,we must find rickshaw in the morning, we have to walk to the main street with our luggages, but the owner, Dhillip, is really helpful. He helped us carry our luggage, find us a rickshaw and pointed our direction to the driver and helped us to bargain the price as well. We had 2 rooms. One room was clean but the other one was quite dusty. Especially the toilet. When I wiped the toilet seat with a tissue, the tissue turned black. When
