An haveli in the old part of Jodhpur, the walls of the fort tower above you as you sit in the only garden in old Jodhpur. Staff are faultless, rooms clean with an eclectic mix of furniture. Layout a little eclectic too, we had a small double, that had two more bedrooms leading off the sitting area, bathroom large and...

Bristows Haveli is a beautifully restored original courtyard house; set right in the heart of the bustling, hectic, blue city of Jodhpur; but step through the doors and suddenly you're in an atmosphere of calm and tranquility; surrounded by beautiful plants, cool shaded rooms, and a welcoming family atmosphere. The manager of the haveli, Nikhil Mathur, couldn't have been more...

We stayed for a week in June....during a heatwave! Bristows Haveli was a joy to come back to after a hectic day out & about in the chaotic (but fun) and unbelievably hot Jodhpur. It sits beneath the ramparts of the spectacular Mehrangahr fort, which is beautifully lit at night. Lovely vibrant colours in the suites, beautiful old furniture &...

Excellent quiet location with a beautiful garden to relax in away from the crowded street life of Jodhpur. Very helpful smiley, friendly staff who start off your day with a delicious breakfast in the garden. All the rooms are beautiful and comfortable, decorated with original artefacts. Good places to eat nearby and don't miss the newly opened Step Well cafe...

This little haveli is an oasis of calm in a bustling city. We had intended to spend one week there and then explore further afield. However, It was so relaxing that we stayed for the best part of three weeks. The garden was an absolute delight and Bristows is perfectly placed for visiting the stunning Mehrangarh fort with Ravi the...

Stayed at Bristows Haveli in late February and cannot praise it enough. The setting within the old walls of the city is perfect. One can shop all day and return to an oasis of calm and a cold beer served by the ever attentive Nikhil who also is a great cook. Ravi the hotel guide is a river of knowledge...

This was my second stay at Bristows, the first being four years ago with my husband. This time I came with three of my friends. I had told them how beautiful it was but their 'oohs' and 'aahs' when we arrived said it all! This is amazing place to stay in the old town within walking distance to the fort....

From the moment you step through the blue walls of this Haveli you know you are in for a treat. 15 minutes from the airport via tuktuk (Neru picked us up) and through the atmospheric narrow streets of the old blue city of Jodhpur and you are there. Garlands of fresh, fragrant pink roses were placed around our necks and...

This Haveli is a wonderful place from which to experience the city of Jodphur and surrounding villages. Nikhil Mathur looked after us with real care, from providing fantastic breakfasts, to organising local tours. We stayed for a little over two weeks, absorbing the cities vibrant, hectic but all consuming cultural heritage. The Haveli is a privilege to stay in, with...

I am so glad that I chose Bristows. It's a beautifully restored haveli in the heart of Jodhpur. The lanes adjoining are a bit dirty but once you enter Bristows you just fall in love with the view of the Mehrengarh fort. Added to that Mr. Nikhil and his team make sure that the guests have a good time. My...
