Though the owner was really nice with us and helpfull, the place doesen't look at all like in the pictures. Compared to the pictures here, looks a way neglected, the bathroom small and dirty and the rooftop has an amazing view, but looks abandoned and old, with dirty tables and empty bottles of beers around. There is no dining service,...

While we were in Rajasthan tour, in Jodhpur, we stayed in Hem guest house. It's situated in Old Jodhpur city. In other words, in the heart of the city. Given that, you should expect very narrow lanes, where even one car struggles to find a way. But it gives you the feeling of being local. Two brothers run this place...

Hem is a 4 story building set in the heart of jodhpur city centre, where you can sit on the roof garden & look over the city & up at the fort which is beautifully lit at night. The hosts are so lovely, I felt completely safe and comfortable with them. The accommodation is basic but clean & well presented...

Location is not good. 1km along narrow lanes. We should of had a large room with TV and complimentary mineral water. Instead we got tiny room where you could not walk around the bed. Our suitcases had to go on a table. No storage. The bathroom was very dirty. Old hair and human waste around the toilet. The staff kept...

We had a very very bad experience during our trip to Jodhpur. 1) Timing: Though it states check-in @ 9:30 am while booking, you won't be able to check in before 1 pm. We reached by 11 am & rooms were not ready. Had to wait for 2 hrs 2) Space & other amenities: Small house, converted into a guest...

We stayed at this Guesthouse for 2 nights in November 2016. The accommodation was very good, clean and comfortable. But what was memorable about our stay was the support we got from the owners during stay when there was the cash crisis. As an example, for some reason our credit was reject in a restaurant and one of the owner...

The owner of Hem Guest House is energetic, friendly and helpful, and does his best to make you feel very welcome. The level of cleanliness was good and it has a roof-top restaurant with great views of the Fort. The cook works hard and tries to do his best for you in a friendly way. It is basic but I...

Location - It is located in old Jodhpur city and hence only accessible through narrow lanes. Auto Rickshaw is the only option to reach. The guest house offers generous free of cost pick up option so reaching there is not an issue. If you are traveling with your own vehicle then there could be a challenge. Rooms - Rooms are...

When you searching for guesthouse in Jodhpur old city, most of the guesthouse offers rooftop view of Mehrangarh Fort, so it is quite confusing which one to choose. So we have to based on our budget and reviews. I chosen Hem guesthouse based on the reviews and it is within my budget. For the price I paid I do not...
