Established in 1969 by the Late Thakur Manvendra Singh and Late Thakurani Jayendra Kumari, The Rohet House is our family home in Jodhpur, a beloved haven amidst the bustling modernity of Rajasthan’s second largest city. Spread across 14,000 sq. feet, this private property has been lovingly developed into a Luxury Residence featuring six Suites and two Rooms, a spectacular swimming pool, a beautifully appointed plush dining room, inviting lounges and verandas and a lush garden. The Rohet House is the latest addition to our family run bouquet of intimate, experiential properties under the “House of Rohet” umbrella. Our properties – Rohet Garh (The ancestral seat of the family since 1622 AD and one of the leading heritage hotels in the country today), and Mihir Garh (our luxury boutique property in the desert, and thrice voted the world’s best boutique hotel!) have constantly strived for excellence, and pushed the boundaries of hospitality and service to another level. At The Rohet House, we stay committed to taking our legacy of impeccable service and endearing hospitality to even greater heights. The Rohet House has been renovated and refurbished with great love and care, and an unmatched eye for detail. There is a subtle, but significant ingredient in the design blueprint of The Rohet House. With the present Thakurani Rashmi Singh’s astute sense of refinement, quiet opulence and intelligent restraint, the aesthetics of The Rohet House stand for harmony and balance between the traditional and the contemporary. As a result, The Rohet House absorbs the best of both worlds and presents itself as a vibrant and invigorating modern-day sanctuary, steeped in the richness and grace of older, perhaps simpler and certainly more profound times. The beautifully appointed rooms, lounges and dining room are adorned with exquisite hand painted frescoes. The underlying theme of Rohet House is 'Krishna '. His subtle presence adorns every room and living space, as he cradles the house in his embrace. The Rohet House has always possessed this incredible positive vibe….lifting the spirit during difficult times, and exuding a comforting warmth and a reassuring sense of security. It tends to attract people and induces joy all around. It has been witness to many a grand party and treasures beautiful memories of fun and good times. Today, in its new avatar, The Rohet House beckons. At every step, the hallmark of The Rohet House is the discovery of special detail - inviting and inclusive, yet intimate, giving you the freedom to interpret as you will, so that you truly feel at home here.

What a find! This recently opened, and restored former family home (and still owned and run by the family) is an amazingly comfortable and elegant boutique hotel with friendly and attentive staff who genuinely want to make you feel at home.

I stayed here as part of a small group which was great as we effectively had the whole hotel to ourselves.

Each of the rooms are unique and have been carefully decorated with high quality materials and fittings and incorporate hand painted walls, and were both spacious and comfortable. The "pod" coffee machines in each room, as well as home made biscuits and fresh fruit were a nice touch.

The chef produced some fantastic food, both traditional Indian as well as continental (my personal favourite being the Indian thali) but all of it was fresh and incredibly tasty.

There is a lovely shaded pool and veranda (although the water was certainly on the chilly side) and a lawned area on which we enjoyed drinks in the evening, warmed by fire pits.

All in all, a most wonderful hotel and one to which I would return to in a heartbeat the next time I am in Jodhpur.

So we stopped by the hotel to check it out since we had stayed in Mihir Garh which is owned by the same family. We wanted to just see it because I remembered seeing it online but couldn’t remember why I did not book it. So we stopped by when we were going for dinner and it was also very close to where we were staying and my wife and kids really liked it at once. We had one day in Jodhpur when we were going to stay the day before departing.
Before we could book it, the manager had to call the owners son to check if he knew of us since we had stayed at Mihir Garh. Upon asking him why he needed to make so many calls for a booking, he said that the hotel had a no child policy (which is why I had not booked it before). Since we had stayed with their other hotel they allowed us to book a room here.
So we decided to book a room there instead of staying at Club Mahindra Jodhpur. They had shown us the double bedroom but considering we had kids, they asked us to book a suite which we did without seeing it. The family has converted a bungalow of theirs into this hotel and have kept a certain portion for themselves which they probably use even now. The hotel has only 8 rooms or houses as they like to call them.
Upon checking in to the room, we were pleasantly surprised because the suite was huge. The bathroom actually has a small passage in it. It is designed tastefully, the bed, beddings and sofas were really really comfortable. The only downside was the fact that they gave us a extra mattress instead of an extra bed. However, the overall experience of the suite was simply too good for that to get in the way. The mattress itself was very confortable so as not to lead to any aches or pains.
The biggest problem we found with the hotel was that they have a very fixed and limited menu which isn’t to everyone’s tastes. Surprising because Mihir Garh despite being a remote location had a much bigger and better menu. Also, you have to inform them 1-1.5 hours before what you’re going to eat. In a city like Jodhpur that should definitely not be the case. Since we did not find the menu appealing and appetising enough for us, we ended up going outside for dinner. The breakfast however, was really sumptuous and more than made up for the dinner shortcomings. They make pretty much whatever you want and it was really tasty.
All in all, I wish they did not have the no child policy and wish we could’ve stayed longer, much longer than just a day.

My friend and I stayed at Rohet House for the Marwari Horse Show in Jodhpur.
This recently opened resting place, a Palace, is divine in every detail. An impressive entrance, the huge wooden door opens to reveal a positive paradise, first a delightful swimming pool with relaxing area greets you then onto a garden fit for Alice it's even got a drumlin !!!
Every bedroom is individually decorated with exquisite wall painting and is adorned with luxurious fabrics, spacious and welcoming. You will adore as we did, it's so stunning, a rare find !!!

Our stay at the Rohet House was an experience like no other. Upon entering the hotel, we were greeted by the lovely manager, Mr. Yashwardhan, and a refreshing cool drink. As Mr. Yash showed us around the property, we were extremely impressed by how the hotel had a modern yet an old world charm to it. The garden, pool and the sitting areas were all beautiful, but I think the highlight for us was the room. The walls were adorned by paintings of traditional Hindu motifs and the bathroom and furnishings were absolutely stunning. I loved the fact that each room in the hotel had a different theme and thus a different decor. It truly made you feel special! We also learnt that the entire hotel was designed by the owner, Ms. Rashmi Singh and were privileged enough to be kindly greeted by her and her family during our stay.

We would also want to thank Mr. Ajeet for his impeccable service throughout our whole stay. He and the whole staff were extremely attentive, kind, courteous and went beyond what was expected of them.

I would strongly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Jodhpur and will surely be visiting soon (along with trying their other two properties!)

I had an absolutely delightful experience during my stay at Rohet House in Jodhpur. The property's fusion of contemporary design with traditional art was a sight to behold, creating a unique and charming atmosphere that set it apart from other hotels.

The staff's warm hospitality and attention to detail truly made me feel special. The height of luxury was evident in every aspect of the property, from the elegant decor to the top-notch amenities.

One of the highlights of my stay was the delectable food. The culinary delights served at Rohet House were a treat for the senses, offering a perfect blend of traditional Rajasthani flavors and modern twists.

The serene surroundings and well-maintained gardens provided a serene escape, making it a perfect retreat after a day of exploring Jodhpur's vibrant city.

I would highly recommend Rohet House to anyone seeking a unique and luxurious experience in Jodhpur. It truly exceeded my expectations and left me with lasting memories of a wonderful trip

This is a small hotel that punches above its weight. It was once a private mansion, and the owners still keeps an appartment here. The suites are luxurious in the things that matter - not a logpile of cushions on the bed for which a home has to be found at night. They are tastefully decorated, efficiently planned, and our room had a quiet sitting area tucked back from the small but pretty garden around the pool. Dining could be taken outdoor by a hot brazier. We stayed during an exceptionally chill January spell of weather and this was a welcome luxury. The food was excellent, and the service could only be faulted by being a little too attentive at times.

One of the best hotels we have stayed in in India, if not anywhere else in the world, The Rohet House has been created with a great eye for detail and is clearly a work of love. Each room is individually designed and is quite beautiful. Comfort is the key here and there is little pretention on display just good design and thoughtful touches e.g. the delicious biscuits, fresh coffee, flowers, excellent beds etc.In fact the bed was one of the most comfortable I have slept on! The food here is excellent and there is a wide range available. The garden is delightful and with the use of braziers it is possible to enjoy drinks and snacks even in the cool of the evening. It is very quiet here, even though there is quite a noisy road outside. We would thoroughly recommend it

Escaping the clamor of Mumbai, my quest for serenity led me to a haven of calmness. A place where the winter sun embraces you, untamed books finally meet their endings, and the velvety sips of wine dance between chapters. Rohet House, however, gifted me more than just tranquility.

Nestled within the city, it's a mere stone's throw from the city's pulse. Yet, the hotel itself becomes an oasis of serenity, a cocoon of relaxation, and a symphony of culinary delights. The siren call of the eggs benedict for breakfast is a melody one can't resist. And the Durrie Khana, oh, just sitting there treats your eyes to an aesthetic masterpiece. The hues, the fusion of modernity and timeless elegance—every brushstroke creates an enchanting ambience.

At Rohet House, the staff don't just serve, they orchestrate a royal symphony of hospitality. From the gentle "Khammaghani" at the threshold to each meticulous gesture, every thread is woven into the tapestry of an unparalleled experience.

If your heart craves an abode in Jodhpur—a boutique haven—look no further. This haven offers not only refuge but a voyage into tranquility and the embrace of heartwarming hospitality.

The hotel is a restored villa furnished with taste and a sense of luxury. It is a perfect place to rest during a vacation as a couple since the hotel is small and children are not preferred.
The staff is discreet while easily available when required.
The extra services offered are however over priced (city tour, lunch/dinner)
Overall a great experience during our 4 days in Jaipur.
