Detailed Reviews
All I can say that the guest is treated like gods here. They have very very good hospitality and very sweet people to interact with. The entire staff was very much concerned about the hygiene and safety of the guest. When we entered the hotel we received a warm welcome with garlands. The lobby is damn mesmerizing you must have seen such places in movies. The feeling of royal stay. The owners were very sweet and all we can see good smiling faces. The staff was very courteous and the service was prompt. The rooms were royal and big. Very Important the hygiene was superbly maintained. Must-Try the Jodhpuri Thali on the rooftop in a Rajasthani style. They also have activities like chess, Carrom and they have their own emporium where you can shop for some souvenirs. Go for it guys its a worth property to stay. 10/10 my rankings

We stayed in this haveli for 2 nights in the first week of Feb. The property definitely has a haveli feel to it. We had booked 2 super deluxe rooms. Both the rooms were on the ground floor each overlooking a small garden. The rooms were as shown in the pics. They were very clean and well made when we entered.
The rooms are very spacious with a sitting area and writing desk but they do not have any windows (does not feel stuffy though). Also, there is a spacious foyer for your footwear and extra luggage.
The bathroom is also spacious with fairly modern amenities. The bathtub was wonderful which helped us to relax after a tiring day of sightseeing & shopping. The bed is one of the largest I have seen. The staff is very courteous and the service is prompt.
The breakfast spread was the usual continental but it was delicious. We also had dinner there which was sumptuous.
Being a heritage property and about a century old, some of the furniture is dated but nothing to complain about.
Overall it was a good and relaxing stay.

Upon the customary welcome, usually by the Owner(s), who are direct descendants of the orignal owner of property.
Courtyard is surprisingly warm, even in December without any heating.
Rooms are cozy and well done with all modern amenities.
Meals are served in courtyard as the open garden is cold in winters.
Staff is extremely courteous too.
Good value for money.

The photos make this place look fantastic. The reality is it's dirty with badly designed rooms and really limited hot water. The bedrooms look charming untill you realilse the headboards are in fact heavy cupboard doors not attached to the bed or the wall, and they obscure the light switches, so one move and the lights go on or off. The bed didn;t have a duvet cover - just two sheets that weren't big enough to cover the stained duvet. Each room had a water heater for the shower. You needed to trn this on 30 minutes before you wanted a shower (not a problem) but only had enough capacity for one shower, so mornings were a bit delayed.
Breakfast was a big spread but again, dirty so we weren't keen on eating there.
The 'Roof top' bar isn't a bar - it's a couple of tables and chairs and one poor waiter loitering i case you want another drink (which he then had to go and get from the bar within the hotel). Not relaxing,
The staff were friednly and helpful enough to the (single) man in our party of three. The two women were generally ignored.
We were the only Europeans staying and even when we mentioned the issues, we got nowhere.
The hotel is also a long way out of town with not much around it, so best to eat in town before you return if you do stay here... which I wouldn't recommend.
On the plus side, there's hundreds of birds in the garden all flying about and chirping so much you think you're in a Disney film.

This is a very traditional historical hotel. We were given a warm welcome and a complimentary drink on arrival. Our room featured one of the highest and largest 4 poster bed we have ever seen. There did not seem to be windows, which made the room extremely dark at night. In fact we slept with one of the many bathroom lights on.
We received the very highest personal service, even by Indian standards, from Ragu the Maitre'd both with our evening rooftop meal and the buffet breakfast in the garden.

Comfort and luxury on a budget. Centrally located but away from the noisy bustle of the city, The Kothi Heritage provides a safe haven where tradition and convenience meet. Rooms are large and comfortable with good lighting. The bathrooms are clean and well appointed. The staff is well trained, kind, courteous and quietly efficient. The food is hot, hygienic and tasty. The dining room is captained by
Raghunath Singh who is a thorough professional. Warm, hospitable and ever alert. The garden is a cosy nook with birds serenading you morning and evening. For shopaholics, the most amazing hand crafted leather products at unbelievably low prices. The products are on sale from 8 to 10:in the morning and 7 to 9 in the evening. Safe for solo tourists also. Value for money without compromise. I loved my stay in the hotel. A big thanks to the staff, especially Raghunath Singh.

The statement "king-size life" is so applicable for the experience. A perfect getaway to experience the hospitality of a haveli. The decor complemented the property and the staff complemented the entire experience. Right from entering the property to check out, they took care of each and every silly requests of tourists. The heritage old property was so well maintained that it will take your breadth away. The leather shop inside the property sells genuine camel leather items at reasonable price.
Coming to food, the spread of breakfast was quite amazing and delicious. Staff were courteous and listened patiently to all our request.
I would like to recommend the stay and would request all travellers to experience the hospitality of a true haveli.

This is a very historic hotel. The stone bones of the hotel go back 6 generation (if I recall correctly. They have updated around them so you still feel the old, but have some modernization. The sitting areas, outside and inside the hotel, are very pleasant, well decorated and pleasant. The bed is very firm (not something I like, but that is the standard in India). There are a ton of different lights in the room, so you never lack for the right lighting level.
I was only staying the night, so wasn't able to experience the dining, but I expect it was delicious.
And this place was VERY quiet. Maybe the structure of the building and my rear room location, but the was the least amount of noise I've had in a hotel since I've been in India.
The staff was extremely friendly and always available for whatever you need.
There are two restaurants that sit on either side of the hotel. So if you need a quick bite outside of the hotels normal hours, or just feel like something different to eat there is Sam's Pizza and The Gypsy something. Both have good reviews. Granted I suggest eating at the hotel, but having other options is never a downside.

We stopped here for one night and were given a welcome from the current owner of the hotel and the story of how the property has passed through the family which was really heartwarming to hear.
The room itself was heritage of course but a little squashed for 3 of us, comfortable seating was provided and the bathroom was large. There was a fridge but no safe. A couple of extra pillows in the room would also have been useful perhaps in the cupboard for those who require them. The problem was the hot water, we had asked how to get this running and a young member of staff checked all the switches for us and told us it was fine...yet no hot water even after 25 mins..in the morning another member of staff said a switch outside the room needed to be on but by then it was too late we were ready to have breakfast and leave.
The breakfast was a little unorganised there was only our table but it took a while with 3 staff on hand to get a cup of tea/coffee and milk for the cereal. We also ordered 2 eggs but ended up with 1 each and after asking again we got the second ones at the end of breakfast after we had finished the toast and banana. The choice was quite limited.
It's a lovely novelty staying here but the restaurant staff and hot water checker could do with additional training.
