Having spend there several times and even longer periods, I'd say I can really say some words. The place itself is charming , the stuff very helpful , the owner family as well. too bad it became surrounded by bigger most ugly buildings which in "civilised " areas of the world would never been allowed to be build nearby and even almost attached . The only suggestion I could give: - the entire house (especially the doors) need a fresh paint job (Heritage doesn't mean worn = especially vintage cars should be cleaned as well) Especially in dirty areas like Jodhpur, like India.... - the internet is not what we expect in this times ! It works like a stuttering person talks - the bathrooms with their slippery when wet floors are very dangerous (caused by showering directly on the floor)…
Best property to stay in at Jaipur. The decor is amazing. Guests are treated with utmost respect. Food is good. The breakfast buffet is lavish and awesome. Rooms are super comfortable. The owner himself welcomes guests. Washrooms are very clean.
Stay - 5/5 Food - 4/5 Staff - 5/5 You can spend the evening at their nicely lit and decorated terrace and enjoy the hotel property post sight seeing in Jodhpur. Staff is very helpful and courteous. The property looks beautiful
Myself and a friend stayed here for 4 nights, and both of our rooms were beautiful. Each room is decorated differently and tastefully so. Good sized rooms, large comfortable beds, a fridge, tea / coffee making facilities, wardrobe, table and chairs, and a nice bathroom - all spotlessly clean. The staff are all very friendly and helpful, it offers a good laundry service, free wifi, and the hotels location is just a short tuktuk ride to the attractions. The only thing that prevented me rating Kothi Heritage 5 stars was the food. It’s a small menu they work from which they said is currently being changed, so every mealtime resulted in ‘sorry ma’am that’s not available’ 2 or 3 times when I’d try to order somthing to eat. Not ideal for the customer and also embarrassing for the restaurant staff I’m sure. (On the plus side, there is a great restaurant next door to eat in). I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Kothi Heritage and would definitely stay again…
Was a lovely hotel, the rooms were beautiful, staff very helpful and friendly. Really good location as tuk tuks's outside on the street to hire. Fabulous new place to eat next door to this hotel..the restaurant food was hit and miss due to a new menu being implemented, which was unfair on the staff as they had such a limited menu ,we felt very sorry for them as they couldn't do anything about it, and were left to deal with the customers
We stayed in this haveli for 2 nights in the first week of Feb. The property definitely has a haveli feel to it. We had booked 2 super deluxe rooms. Both the rooms were on the ground floor each overlooking a small garden. The rooms were as shown in the pics. They were very clean and well made when we entered. The rooms are very spacious with a sitting area and writing desk but they do not have any windows (does not feel stuffy though). Also, there is a spacious foyer for your footwear and extra luggage. The bathroom is also spacious with fairly modern amenities. The bathtub was wonderful which helped us to relax after a tiring day of sightseeing & shopping. The bed is one of the largest I have seen. The staff is very courteous and the service is prompt. The breakfast spread was the usual continental but it was delicious. We also had dinner there which was sumptuous. Being a heritage property and about a century old, some of the furniture is dated but nothing to complain about. Overall it was a good and relaxing stay.…
Don’t fall for pictures, it is not up to the mark. Basic things was not available. Bathroom stinks like hell. They give slice under the name of juice as welcome drink. Just breakfast was average that’s why I am giving one star or else I could have given minus star.
All I can say that the guest is treated like gods here. They have very very good hospitality and very sweet people to interact with. The entire staff was very much concerned about the hygiene and safety of the guest. When we entered the hotel we received a warm welcome with garlands. The lobby is damn mesmerizing you must have seen such places in movies. The feeling of royal stay. The owners were very sweet and all we can see good smiling faces. The staff was very courteous and the service was prompt. The rooms were royal and big. Very Important the hygiene was superbly maintained. Must-Try the Jodhpuri Thali on the rooftop in a Rajasthani style. They also have activities like chess, Carrom and they have their own emporium where you can shop for some souvenirs. Go for it guys its a worth property to stay. 10/10 my rankings…
This is a very traditional historical hotel. We were given a warm welcome and a complimentary drink on arrival. Our room featured one of the highest and largest 4 poster bed we have ever seen. There did not seem to be windows, which made the room extremely dark at night. In fact we slept with one of the many bathroom lights on. We received the very highest personal service, even by Indian standards, from Ragu the Maitre'd both with our evening rooftop meal and the buffet breakfast in the garden.
