The best homestay experience we had on our Rajasthan sightseeing trip. Our room reservation was messed up by the third party booking site but Mr. Chetan Bakshi, the owner of this place accomodated us in a suite at no extra cost. Mr. Bakshi stayed late at the site that evening to ensure our check in experience was smooth and we were taken care of properly by his staff upon our arrival. The staff was very attentive and courteous. The place is located in a quiet and gated neighborhood. Accommodations are clean, spacious and equipped with all the modern amenities. Comfortable bed and quiet neighborhood ensures that you get a good night's sleep. You can enjoy great views of Umaid Bhavan Palace from the rooftop garden, where you can enjoy your dinner. Morning breakfast and dinner were the highlights of our stay. Staff prepared everything from scratch. The food was made to order, simple, home style and heavenly. Staff was very helpful in arranging our Jodhpur sightseeing and Jodhpur to Jaisalmer transportation at a reasonable cost. The service was great !! If we are visiting Jodhpur again , The Almond Tree is going to be my first preference.…
We had a little difficulty in locating it but that was only because of Google Map. Once we reached there, we had were slightly disappointed as we are used to staying at hotels and well homestays are different. But after 3 nights, when we left we were in love with the place. The food was awesome, service impeccable and the location is near to all the important places. They also arranged a desert safari for us and went out of the way to make laal maas for dinner. Highly recommended.
We were family of 3 adults n 1 kid staying at Bogunvilla suite. Its a beautiful secluded place with mountains around and lovely views. Terrace garden with Jacuzzi is very soothing view. Everything in the suite was well taken care of right from the lighting to the ambience, aroma. Walking wardrobe with huge washroom is a super experience.Clean beds, warm welcome n ready to attend staff with excellent food made us extend our stay by one day. The host attends to every client personally and its a MUST STAY at Jodhpur. Highly recommended 😇😇😇
We stayed at this wonderful place in Dec 2021. After having lived in hotels in Jaisalmer and Udaipur this stay was like coming home. We immediately felt so comfortable. Completely blown away by the whole experience. The check in experience is so seamlessly managed, fairly simple and quick. The staff is very considerate and completely attuned to guest needs. They are extremely responsive, helpful and co - operative. Breakfast was heavenly. Freshly prepared in the most healthy way - no excess oil, ghee and served in a very appealing way. The serving staff is very attentive and prompt. Aesthetically the place is designed very elegantly. Classy, comfy and extremely neat and clean. I would not mind visiting Jodhpur again just to get an opportunity to stay at Almond Tree and experience the wonderful hospitality it has to offer. My regards to Chetan Bakshi and the complete staff in making our stay comfortable and memorable.…
Ever wanted a vacation home where the rooms are cozy, the food is lip smack'n good, the view from the terrace is amazing, the terrace has a sauna and a candle light dinner setup and the staff is amazingly helpful? Well that is Almond tree for you. We had extremely high expectations from this property and it delivered on all fronts. The staff accommodated our late check in request and coordinated with us for preparing our dinner - one which blew our mind away upon arrival with it's taste. The rooms were clean and tidy and well equipped with every essential and toiletry that one would need during their stay. The house keeping staff was prompt and cleaned our room every day. The chefs made us some very good breakfast and dinner and we had the best bonfire here. The rooms are nicely built to help keep one warm even during the chilly winters of Jodhpur. All of this being said, there were a few issues with the property but nothing that should stop you from coming over here: 1. The walls are thin and the voices from the other rooms can be annoying 2. The location is a little far from all of the major tourist attractions and the city in general so finding an Ola/Uber can be challenging but the hotel can arrange cabs/autos for you on demand. 3. The washroom had a pungent smell similar to recycled water and we just had to live with it. Excluding these, we did not face any issue with our stay and were in no mood to vacate and come back from this cozy house nestled in the lap of nature.…
