We were looking for the eccentric blue painted neighbourhood in Jodhpur, and Cosy Guesthouse is right in it! Beautiful blue stone building with great view. Friendly staff and within walking distance of the fort/museum. Clean, afforable, and with lots of personality!
I stayed here with my boyfriend and we had a nice and comfortable room with a bathroom and a balcony with a breathtaking view of the fort. It's clean and it was just what we needed. Great price for the room we had, and the top terrace is very comfortable with a little breeze, together with the cute turtles and the food was very tasty! The host was very friendly and helpfull. The location is set in the less touristy part of the city, you can wander around in the little alies and the fort was a 15min walk. A wonderful stay it was!
We stayed for two nights in the deluxe room (with AC and ensuite), ate breakfast and dinner here- very reasonable prices. Enjoyed our stay here. Walking distance to the fort. Good rooftop views especially at dusk. Two things to mention: - It is hidden away in small streets and our tuktuk driver dropped us off on the main Street to follow the signs. We found it fine, but be aware that you'll have a few mins uphill walk from the main road. - found the staff to be very hospitable, but in one occasion when i asked to buy water I was given a re-filled bottle, when I asked about the broken seal I was given a second bottle with a different colour lid before being told they didn't have any...I wasn't sure if this was simply language barrier.
I went to Jodhpur during new year and stayed at Cosy Guest House for 2 days. Guest house provide good and comfortable basic facility. Staff is helping. It is situated at hilly region of city so you have to walk a bit to reach to the guest house. I wish there can be more cleanliness around the guest house from the main road to the cosy guest house.
This guesthouse is such a humble and charming place to stay! We arrived after a long train journey, in 40 degree heat, and Perim made us feel instantly welcome and comfortable. We stayed in a double bedroom, with a bathroom and balcony, which had great views of the fort and streets below. But it is the roof top that is the real gem... it is simply beautiful and easy to spend hours relaxing, enjoying the views of the fort and old town, and we were even lucky enough to see Langur monkeys running across the rooftops! Perim makes great food for a reasonable price, and overall, for the price of the accommodation this is a hidden gem! Really great, thank you so much!
