A medieval haveli, an architectural marvel with very high arched and semi arched stone ceilings and beautiful courtyards filled with old heritage antique furniture and memorabilia from the royal family still residing in a part of the haveli. We provide all the modern comforts along with the old world charm inside the rooms and is situated 5mins from the fort and adjoining the palace and the main market. We welcome all our guests to come enjoy the hospitality and the wonderful cuisine at the rooftop restaurant and take home an experience just not a stay.

Had been to Nachana Havelli @ Jaisalmer twice Last time was Oct 2021 and it was a very good experience as always. The Havelli is at the central location of Jaisalmer and just by the side of the Fort our very own Sonar Kella ( Golden Fort ). Very near to it is the market place and the famous Bhang Shop...the only registered and Govt approved Bhang Shop in India. The Havelli will give you the real feel of the Rajasthan Royals. You can yourself taste the feeling of becoming a Royal here. The rooms are beautiful with all the required facilities. The Havelli is a treat to all guests staying there and at the night time it's just fabulous with the Havelli getting lit up. There is a roof top restaurant which serves tasty food and has a great view of the Fort ( Bengali's very own SONAR KELLA ) and the Mandir Palace. The property belongs to the Royals of Jaisalmer and Rajaji..Hukum Vikram Singh Bhatti personally takes care of the property and his guests. On both my visits he had been very kind enough and humble to personally interact with me. Finally I must mention the name of the person who is in charge of the property Mr Chandan Shandilya ...with time and repeated visits I now share a very good relationship with him. He is an extremely helpful person and is always taking a good care of his guests. This time in October Chandanji made sure that our stay becomes extremely comfortable and enjoyable.

It's a small haveli belonging to the royal family of Jaisalmer located very close to - the Jaisalmer Fort, the Kothari-Patwon Ki Haveli as well as to Nathmal Ki Haveli. All three locations are less than 10 minutes walking distance from Nachana Haveli. The owner Mr. Vikram Singh was kind enough to upgrade us to a suite which had a very old style charm of it's own and was well maintained, neat and clean. The breakfast was delicious, especially their omelettes & 'poha.' As it is located in a market area be prepared for some 'noise' if your room is road facing, else request for a room on the inside, away from the road and noise. A comfortable stay at a very convenient location.

The hotel Palace emerges from a checked past to a charmed present. The hotel is an old palace (almost 300 years old), but it has been renovated into a classy hotel. One of the best places to stay while you are in Jaisalmer is Nachana Haveli. It is situated inside the citadel complex (but not inside the fort), offers a brilliant illuminated view from the terrace of the golden fortress, creates a rustic yet unique experience, and offers amazing food. While maintaining with the style of the property, all the furnishings are antique, along with a very cozy bed. The workers are highly trained and attentive, with nothing too much hassle from the moment you are welcomed to the moment you leave with flowers and a bindi. Highly suggested for a stay.

Nachana Haveli is a beautiful property right in the heart of Jaisalmer. Its location makes it the perfect spot to stay in town as everything is within walking distance. However, the property has far more potential which can be achieved with a few improvements.
Negatives:
The interior needs improvement. The bare walls don't add character to the room instead make it freezing cold, particularly in winter. Cabling is messy all over the place making it unsightly. There are not sufficient free power sockets in the room (are being utilised by appliances). Sockets are poorly arranged with nowhere to place your electronics whilst charging.
The windows in the room are high up and frosted therefore it's very dark in the room. There are no toiletries in the bathroom except a bar of soap and two shower caps. Hostels provide more than this hotel. The bathroom is poorly designed. The toilet is perfectly aligned with the edge of the sink unit so you have to straddle it when sitting on the toilet.
The beds are old and very creaky.
The breakfast is very basic, with not even any juice available. No brown bread available.
On my last night I found a mouse in the room which had entered through a hole in the wall. Although staff took care of it promptly, this is not something that should happen in a property you pay such prices for.
I've traveled with the same budget elsewhere and received a much better product.
Positives:
The exterior is beautiful with pretty courtyards. There is a fantastic view of the fort from the top terrace. The location is exceptional - right in the heart of town. The rooms and bathroom are clean with clean and warm bedding. The staff and owners are very friendly and helpful.

The haveli is atmospheric and beautiful with gorgeous artifacts strewn all over the place and a nice rooftop with a lovely view of the fort. The only thing which irked us is the staff member (Ashu Singh) who informed us that since we needed 3 beds, he has upgraded us to a suite. I got suspicious and looked up the website and saw we were actually given the gulab mahal which is the lesser expensive of the rooms (all the rooms had a basic seating area so it was nothing special). I recognized the gulab mahal from the paintings on the walls! We didn't even ask for an upgrade and perfectly happy with the room assigned but the staff member got me suspicious with all his over friendly reassurances. He was also quite inefficient, we asked for an extra pillow and a bottle of water which didn't arrive for a couple of hours after which I made another trip to the reception. Hope feedback will be given to the staff member. We had a comfortable stay overall but do be aware that this haveli is located right in the middle of a crowded market place with no parking available. So if you are looking to walk to the fort a few times during your stay, this is the place for you but otherwise I would have chosen a quieter spot.

Hotel Nachana Haveli is an old haveli converted into a hotel and there is some charm in that. The rooms however were cramped.
They have a restaurant on the terrace. Mid-way there is a washroom beside the stairs, and the entire stairs reek of urine due to this. The a la carte food was ok-ish. The breakfast included in the package was disappointing with just couple of items - paratha, poha, sandwich and tea.
There is no option to engage kids except for a table tennis table.
During exit, the staff saw us struggling to load luggage on our car but would not offer help, which was quite bad hospitality.
We paid Rs 7k per night which seems quite steep given the state of property and lack of facilities.

When we arrived at this hotel, which is located at the base of the fort and within easy and interesting walking distance, we were thrilled. It is set in the most beautiful old building, with utterly gorgeous courtyards filled with fountains and flowers and places to sit in the sun. However, first impressions are not always accurate and we lived to regret our decision to stay there. We had booked two larger rooms that were supposed to come with a seating area and writing desk. The rooms we got were tiny. We had asked for an extra bed but when it was put in the room, it was so small the beds were almost touching. One of the rooms had holes in the walls that opened onto the street, with no glass, so the noise and cold was hideous. There was also a massive hole going up into the roof above the bed that really needed repairing. The bathroom was tucked away in what must have been something like a storeroom, so you had to bend down double to go through the opening, which was pretty much like going into a cave. I hit my head on the entry and a tall person would have real trouble getting through. Once in the bathroom, the shower head pours water straight onto the floor of the bathroom, saturating everything in sight including the hairdryer that is attached to the wall. We were advised that we would have to run the water for ten minutes before any hot water would arrive. The other bathroom had a toilet that did not flush. We had to use a bucket of water to clear it. There was no internet except in the reception area, something I would not normally whinge about but in conjunction with everything else I’m having a whinge about that too! And that brings me to the heating. About six degrees at night and nothing, not even a space heater. They delivered some less than clean blankets to our room and that was that. We had dinner at their Saffron restaurant one night, and while there was a cultural show, the food was very ordinary. The cultural show went on for hours and we heard all of it in our rooms, and then heard all the guests returning as their voices echoed through the courtyard outside our room. And then when we arrived for breakfast at 8am the next morning, we were turned away because it wasn’t ready yet. It was pretty ordinary anyway, with dirty tablecloths and a very poor range of food. We were so unhappy and uncomfortable at this place that we left a day early. The family discussed what kind of rating you would give this place and we agreed one star for location.

After months of lockdown, my friends and I decided to go on a relaxing trip to Jaisalmer ( because it's a safe city during Covid19). We wanted to have a true rajasthani experience, so we booked 3 rooms for 3 nights at Nachana Haweli which is almost 300 years old heritage place. Stay at Nachana was a complete royal experience. A really beautiful ambiance and a lovely host. We also got a chance to meet the royal family who lives there. The staff went way beyond to make our stay super comfortable, safe and fun. And that amazing Dal Baati was a cherry on the top to this trip😍 They have such beautiful history to that place and a splendid view of the fort from the rooftop. They also arranged folk dancers and singers for us which was amazing. Moreover, they also helped us with our itinerary, recommended places to shop and arranged a tour guide for us as well. I would definitely recommend this place to all those who wants to experience Jaisalmer in a unique and royal way.

We booked this on Airbnb and I guess it comes with its own plus points; since we also get to interact with the hosts who are the Royal family of Jaisalmer. We stayed in the Sultan Mahal which is the largest room and perhaps a 'suite' of sorts which was surreal in every aspect. Lovely food at the rooftop restaurant; and the staff was more than helpful to accommodate our requests. We were extremely comfortable here ; and just what we needed to relax and take a walk in the narrow lanes of the city and explore the sights and sounds of the great city.

This place was highly recommended to us but i found the place very run down. The location is undoubtedly very good as you can walk to the fort and market etc. The room we got Gulab Mahal was badly furnished and plaster was peeling. Fan was not working so we were forced to use AC. The bathroom was also stinking a bit as it had no ventilation. No phone in the room so you need to personally go to the front desk all the time of you need anything. The boys who were providing service were excellent!
