We spent four nights at the Shahi Palace and a further night on an overnight stay in the desert which the hotel organised. Although we were arriving late evening by train, the hotel made sure we were picked up at the station by their staff.
The rooms were comfortable, we had booked 2 rooms with a fort view and were not disappointed. The rooftop terrace provided great views of the fort and we spent many a happy hour chilling out up there. The food at the hotel was very good and the Laal Maa(n)s was one of the best meals I had on our tour of Rajasthan. Breakfast was made to order so was freshly made and very tasty.
Our overnight stay in the desert was through the hotel and something we would certainly recommend experiencing (we booked the tents). The entertainment was very good and so was the food.
The staff ensured our stay was a memorable one and a big thanks to Devilal (the owner) who took care of our every needs. Thank you for the rum, it was delicious.

Super good location, just 7 minutes from the bus stop and next to the fort, comfortable beds, Western toilet, hot water, the workers help you at all times with tickets and questions you may have, especially Vijay, very attentive and friendly . Correct restaurant prices and very good Indian food. Stunning views of the fort with an incredible sunset on the second roof top. Without a doubt if I return I would stay again. I recommend it !

Shahi palace is one of the finest stays in Jaisalmer. I had an unforgettable stay at this hotel! The rooftop terrace offers breathtaking views of the fort, creating a delightful dining experience. The ambience is top-notch, providing a perfect blend of comfort and sophistication. The service was great. Offers a fort chamber themed stay. Rooms are very well maintained and the food was a delight, especially banana nutella pancake.

Stayed here for two nights with family, Feel of the hotel was good. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Washroom was ok clean but they should renovate it.The views of fort from the rooftop restaurant were beautiful and nice ambience to spend time with loved ones. Staff was helpful and kind. Great hospitality. Location is at walking distance to fort. Highly Recommended. One thing which I don't like is they were charging extra service charges for providing water bottle in room on the top of its mrp.

Stunning place in a great location, very close to the fortress. The neighborhood is very peaceful and cozy. Staff tries their best for their guests, constantly helping when needed and making sure I have everything I need. The room is very spacious with comfortable beds and a good shower. Towels are included and wi-fi works perfectly. But the most important thing here is the rooftop with an amazing view of the fortress, the best location to see the fortress, especially in the evening in the lights. Besides that they cook so delicious food, I honestly had nothing tastier on this trip, they made it not spicy as I asked and I appreciate it. I recommend it to everyone. Don't hesitate when choosing a place in Jaisalmer, it's your best choice!

We stayed at shahi palace during my friend's visit to jaisalmer. The hotel was recommended by my friend . They picked us up early in the morning 5am and gave us room for rest till our booked room became available. We booked a fort view room which was beautiful and we could see the fort from the windows. The rooftop terrace offers a fantastic view of the city, fort view , during the day , sunset or at nights is superb. The food was good too . Overall we enjoyed our stay at shahi palace and recommend it to everyone.

The free pickup from the train station was really kind, Loved this hotel they upgraded my room with no extra charge. This property is managed by $ kind hearted brothers, Food at the Rooftop Cafe was absolutely amazing with the best view of The Fort. My room was was very comfy and the staff friendly and helpful. Shahi Palace took me on the Desert Safari and Sunset with star gazing was such an exceptional experience. I highly recommend this Hotel

The owner is a really friendly man, and all the staff showed me great hospitality. The rooms are comfortable, and the location is excellent, with wonderful views of the fort and the sunset which can be enjoyed from the rooftop restaurant while enjoying their tasty food or a nice cup of warming masala chai.
