Stay with this hotel was an ordeal. A shoddy place which has done a good marketing to project the hotel as a palace hotel but it is nothing more than a outskirts hotel trying to be lavish . Located in a deserted area with no street lighting, dont think too much about this hotel. Mr ali , the reservation person to talk to was the most arrogant person , i booked on 27thnovember in advance for 29th and 30th dec and gave them an advance. Come 20th December they mailed me that they have cancelled our booking citing that i have not paid in full as they have written in small lines in their booking voucher. On enquiring about it, mr ali made it clear that it was your mistake and we have cancelled your booking , forfeited my 10000/- advance and you can try elsewhere. Being new years it was impossible for me getting a reservation at a good place . They literally made me beg and forced me to write an email that it was my mistake to not deposit balance amount without any reminder . After that mr ali smartly asked for 4000/-rs extra to reconfirm booking , that was the first sign of their greediness which i paid along with my balance amount at 11pm in night. Come 29th dec , i reached Jaisalmer to their hotel to find it was just a below average hotel for i which i paid 10k per night, paint coming off, stained flooring, cardboard work on walls super ugly, low height of ceilings it was more like a business hotel, they had no sense of hospitality whatsoever. We had 2 babies in our family so we asked if milk for babies is chargeable or not to which they gladly said we dont charge for baby milk. I thought that maybe they have some good hospitality skills. Food was average, nothing sort of Rajasthani taste we had thought from the name chokhi dhani. At the time of checking out ,to my suprise they charged us for baby milk. I asked them that they have said they wont charge for milk to which they replied sir you asked for more than 1 glass milk per day and they charged me around 600/litre. I havent stayed in a worst place in so much time. Ambience 2/10 Food 6/10 Hospitality 2/10 Room 4/10 Greediness 10/10 Marketing 10/10 Ripoff 10/10 Find a better place to stay guys . AVOID

We stayed in choki dhani palace hotel Jaiselmer on 12th dec and the services provided by them was good. Mr Om prakash was really nice and helped us in whatever thing we needed at the hotel. He made sure that our stay here should be pleasant. Also Mr. Bobby in the buffet area was helpful and asked if we needed anything for our kid for any particular dish. He served us really well. Thank you to both.
