After covid the sanitization part has drastically change.. They started sanitize with every check out.. rooms and beds are very clear, you'll feel like home atmosphere.
Their is 24hr help desk at the reception which will help you through out the day..
And the best part is camel safari, if anyone don't want to be on animals they must try zeep safari in dunes.. If you still feel lethargic to go to the desert for sun set Abu safari offers you to enjoy sunset from its terries itself..
So if you are in Jaisalmer dont forget to visit Abu safari once..

Stayed with friends in the suite room which is big in size and the washroom size is also good.
It was a good deal in 3000/ night for all four of us without breakfast. The terrace view is very good.

For breakfast, you can visit gopa chowk which is filled with eateries and dosa corner.
Famous dal pakwan thela at gopa chowk and fateh ki famous kachori. Nearby is goverment authorised bhang shop also.

Suggestion : Keep hand towels also and fix toilitries keeping tray near bathing area .

We rented Activa at 400/ day but do check it properly before renting it out as they give you bad condition Activa as well.

We had booked 2 nights at this hotel, but as soon as we entered the room, we realized that we had made a mistake. We asked for a room change, but the owner couldn’t accommodate us. I cancelled the booking for the additional one night. The bathroom was dirty, the curtain appeared as if it hadn’t been washed for a decade, the fan switch didn’t have a regulator, electric wires were hanging, etc. The noise level on the ground floor was unimaginable.

Additionally, 2 days before our visit, I get calls from the hotel to book the desert safari with them. The price quoted on one call was Rs10k, on the other was Rs7k. We could experience the same things at less than 50% of their quoted price. Its clearly a way for them to lock in customers who may not be knowing of the costs and basically looting them.

Abu Safari - you guys need to pull up your socks- these things are unacceptable especially if you are charging reasonable sums. Will not recommend to anyone.

We stayed in this hotel for one night December 2019. We booked the hotel well in advanced and confirmed to owner as well in evening that we will be arriving in late night around 12:30 am. As we reached, we were looking for parking and calling the owner.. from distance only, they were asking us let the vehicle come in from narrow lane. There was bike parked on the road, owner was simply standing and seeing us. My husband got down from car and parked the bike aside and then parked our car, which was not fitting there. Later we parked it near fort.. no help from hotel for this. This was the 1st experience, we had with this hotel.
As we entered, owner started asking us to pay now only, in mid night 12:50 am. We paid. As we entered in the room, room cleaning was going on.. can you believe this? That too with sooo dirty cloth.
As I entered in washroom to freshen up, someone's underwear was hanging behind the door. Pathetic.
Bed was very dirty, washroom was not at all clean. Drainage was open below washbasin. It was so dirty that even I did not want to click the photos.
We stayed in 5 places in our 10 days journey from mumbai to Jaiselmer. But never came across such pathetic hotel.
Worst hotel, worst owner.
In morning, when we checked out, he came behind us and asking us to book a desert safari with him and to write a good review about hotel. Till time he has not shown his face to us. We were carrying our 5 bags to the car, even he did not ask any of his person to help us, but he was requesting us to book a safari with him. Horrible...
A big NO to the hotel from our side, it is not at all worth what we paid here for one night. A big mistake to take the decision of staying here.

The Abu Safari Hotel in Jaisalmer, India, recently offered me the chance to stay there, and I was completely impressed by the level of service and comfort the establishment provided.
The hotel is situated in a magnificent and tranquil place with breathtaking sand dunes and views of the desert scenery all around. The rooms are roomy and well-appointed, with cosy beds, luxurious bedding, and breathtaking views of the neighbourhood.

The hotel has spacious, comfortable and clean rooms which benefit from both aircon and ceiling fans. There’s a rooftop restaurant serving meals and also a refreshingly cool, swimming pool.
The safari was amazing. From the moment we left in the jeep, taking in a couple of interesting stops to transferring to our camels for the journey into the desert proper. Our guide ROJAY (request him if possible- a genuinely good guy) was attentive without being overly so and he ensured we had everything we needed.
The hotel’s owner, Abu, is a friendly, if somewhat eccentric guy- great entertainment

Solo female stayed in a dorm. Facilities were average and not very clean but very cheap price so you get what you pay for. Abu and staff are lovely but don’t be afraid to say no as I noticed them being very pushy to younger female travellers. Food is good and rooftop is a great place to sit, good location. I got told they would give me change later when I paid and they never gave change. Would recommend to budget travellers only

Extremely poorly managed place. I visited Jaisalmer for couple of days with my family. Booked my stay with Abu Safari which had pretty good comments and review rating on trip advisor. I also booked a desert safari with Abu Safari on constant persuasion of the manager there. 1st of all all the people manager the hotel all were extremely unprofessional. There was no water no electricity. 2nd day as soon as we were ready for safari he asked us to keep our luggage in our car for safety which we were leaving in the hotel parking and let the other guests into our room. I still had the booking for that room, how could they allow other people to use my room? The Safari was a disaster. We were dropped in the desert at 3.30 PM where we were promised a night to remember with evening snacks, DJ, dancers, dinner in the desert, sleep under the stars and morning breakfast. When we got into the desert there for a few people like us but no signs of any preparation or arrangement. We did not get any food with us as we paid for all to Abu safari. We managed to kill time running on the sand dunes and playing cards for a couple of hours. But after sun set it started to get really cold, we had no blankets, no food and were so tired by then. There were 100+ people like us who knew nothing about what's happening. By 8-9 pm everyone gathered up on a a sand hill, still no sign for any arrangement. Everyone called the managers and abused them as badly as possible and the answer was - we are just getting there. This place is in the middle of no where 60 km from the city and noway anyone could get back out of that with out camels or their jeeps. We were so hungry that we just kept laying on the sand frustrated. Finally at about 10 pm these people get there with a broken generator. every one is drunk even the managers, people are fighting, it was the worst anything could get. Food was prepared in the dark in the most unhygienic conditions and that to by the camel walkers who never washed their hands after pooping also I suppose. The only food was rice, gobi aloo and really really uncooked goat. I can never imagine that after paying that much I ll get all that torture for a new years night. I would request trip advisor to remove this place from there listing. any one reading this post please please do visit this place but just to say them - Shame on you!!! Never Stay with them- they are bloody drinkers and smokers just running the place like a family guest house for foreigners. Only guest they talk properly are foreigners.
