We enjoyed the hospitality of Rang Mahal for a couple of nights in Dec last week. We were a group of 13 people (8 adults and 5 children) and we stayed in 4 different rooms at Rang Mahal
1) Check-in process was a breeze. Though we arrived a couple of hours prior to the check-in time, the staff helped us secure 3 rooms so that we could all settle down before stepping out for sightseeing
2) The service personnel were very friendly and helped us with suggestions for dinner and sightseeing options.
3) The rooms were spacious and were extremely well maintained
4) The buffet breakfast offered a wide variety of Indian, continental choices
5) Overall a memorable stay - modern facilities and service in a heritage property

Strongly recommended!

For an exceptional stay in Jaisalmer, Rang Mahal is an excellent choice. We attended a photo gathering of 150 photographers from around the world and Rang Mahal was the central location. It was a short tuk tuk ride away from the center of the old town and the Jaisalmer fort. Our room, on the second floor with balcony, was well-appointed and serviced daily. Amenities were appropriate including a hair dryer. Overall, the room was quiet, even though it was above a central courtyard. The main dining area provided copious breakfast buffets as well as individual omelets. Lunch and dinner also were available. The overall facility felt like a royal palace from other times. Entertainment on the garden lawn was open to everyone every evening. The hotel manager ensured that everything was impeccable and even helped with currency exchange when a suitable ATM was not easily available. The reception staff worked hard to assure that taxi/tuk tuk service arrived on time and the cleaning staff was always around to provide extra towels and water. We did not have time to take advantage of the many other services such as the swimming pool and spa. We did have an occasional minute to sit in the reception area and in the gardens. This was a terrific place to host an event such as ours. As we were leaving a large wedding party took over the hotel and all of the outdoor garden/patio areas.

We went there as a group of 5 friends to celebrate new year! We were lucky to get rooms on a short notice as the new year is the busiest time of the year for Rajasthan hotels. I must say it was an experience of a lifetime in Hotel Rangmahal. The hosts as well as their staff were so courteous and cordial that they won our hearts. The rooms were perfect with all kinds of amenities and they had even provided us cute sanitiser minis which smelled heavenly. The property in itself is so picturesque that we didn’t really want to step out for sight seeing. They arranged bonfire as well as music for us, there is a nice bar where you can sit and have a good time. The galleries exude royalty and the swimming pool is a huge plus. The property is well maintained and managed. I have since suggested many friends and family members to visit here and will suggest everyone to visit here whenever they are in town! Plan your next vacation here!

We went in Covid time for a holiday for 3 nights so room rates were around 3400 per night including breakfast. Breakfast was nice.Hotel was nice to stay.If u have dinner or lunch in the hotel it is tasty but very expensive.Rates were more than 5 star properties. We had a bad encounter with Front desk executive Anjali, she was rude and unprofessional.

We stayed in the hotel for a day in Oct first week, 2022. The property is good and spacious. We booked "Standard Room" and this was quite small, maybe just 120-150 sq ft max excluding bathroom.

We used the swimming pool with proper swimming costume made of mylon. I used a nylon t-shirt purchased especially for swimming which is allowed per rules in the swimming pool in my apartment complex and other hotels that I have stayed. I politely explained this to the staff and he was fine. A few minutes later, the owner himself came and insisted that I remove the t-shirt. I found this very intrusive, rude and unpleasant experience. I wouldn't stay in this property or recommend this property because of the nosy owner and his random rules. On a vacation, you just want to relax and enjoy and not be pestered by random folks.

You have to stay here, the staff is extremely friendly, they even arranged a bonfire for us at night in the cold winters, the rooms a big and spacious with an attatched balcony in each room, bathrooms are big and specious, neat and clean. The in room food service is good, the quality of food is good though they over cooked our Maggi, a little bummed about that. All in all we loved our stay here and would definitely come back here if I find myself in Pushkar ever again

I stayed in this property for one night for business purpose. The property is near to the city when you move towards the sand dunes in sam. The property has a heritage look in each of its area. The lobby, reception, rooms, restaurant are decorated with traditional rajwadi look, rajasthan is famous for. Manager Mr Gopal is a helpful and accommodating gentleman. Since i suffered an injury on my way to jaisalmer, i spent more time in my deluxe room near reception only. This was big room with all amenities and was very comfortable. Owing to my injury, i requested for all my meals to be delivered in the room only which was arranged. Staff are helpful and courteous. Food was good, but little over expensive. Also, the night staff was not good at communication skills but staff during day time were highly professional and trained. I overall enjoyed the place and hospitality.

I used to visit Jaisalmer and everytime I prefer to stay at Hotel Rangmahal. It is very neet and clean property. Environment is so calm. Food is little bit costly but it is ok. Bar is also managed very well. Front office staff is professional. Knows many of the executives, All are amicable and supportive. One Miss Anjali at front office was very supportive for extending whatever support for the event of my marriage annivarsary celebration. Also for the issue of my overpayment, Miss Anjali, exhibited her professional behaviour in a very supportive manner. A smiling face ever, she tried to resolved the issue in a perfect way. Hope a good future for such executives. Overall I enjoy the good hospitality.

Hotel Rang Mahal in Jaisalmer has an impressive heritage campus with golden walls, but the experience didn’t quite match the expectations. While the welcome was decent, the rooms, though decorated with heritage interiors, may not appeal to those who prefer modern designs. The restaurant staff showed strange behavior on a few occasions, and their lack of training in hospitality and cooking was evident. Given the overall infrastructure and service quality, the pricing feels unjustifiably high. For example: Single Papad costs 250 rupees, tea costs 350+ taxes, pizza/burger cost was 1000+taxes during the cultural programme in the garden in the evening.

It is an excellent ambiance for family and couples, there is clean and well maintained swimming pool, food is very good quality and quantity wise. Room service is very prompt. Reception people are very cooperative as my mother was traveling alone and there was no problem, she felt comfortable.
